When I was looking for a picture in my box of old photos, I came across these 2 gems. I think I was around 16. There was a show at Glemore Park in Calgary I wanted to go to, so Ron Anderson took my horse for me and off I went. No coach to tell me what classes I should be in or what I should be doing. I was either brave or stupid. I actually placed in a few classes and ended up with a trophy. Thanks Ron for not telling me this wasn’t a good idea. I learned to follow my dreams and to look to the next jump. Some good life lessons I hope that I’ve passed onto my kids.

Congratulations to Sylvia Hoyt and her horse, Good Kruzin Machine, on their top 10 finish in the 3yr old Open Non Pro Hunter Under Saddle at the QH Congress.
The tail she used is a 2lb tail with added weight. Her horse didn’t have much tail to work with as shown in the before picture.

Here is alternative way to put in a tail extension. We use grommets, which are easier to put in, either using 1,2 or 3 grommets. This tail extension is 38” long and the customer preferred the 2 hole style.
We can also change over most tail extensions to the grommet style if you have an extension that needs repairs. Or if you prefer the loop or strand style, we can repair that too.
