Halcyonia Gypsy Rose is a stunning dressage pony that catches everyone's attention wherever she goes.

She is a 2019 Welsh cob mare. GR attended her first sanctioned dressage show in September 2024, earning 66 and 68% while handling a spooky show environment like a seasoned show horse. At home, she is schooling Training/First level, with some lateral work and counter canter. GR is not spooky, she is easy to handle and a complete sweetheart at the show both in a busy warm up and in the ring.

She has a lovely walk, cadenced trot, rhythmical canter. She moves, and acts as an upper level dressage horse in a 13.3H body. She has not bucked, reared or bolted (rides in a snaffle) but is sensitive to the leg and seat.

She is suitable for anyone, a junior, aa or even a pro. She is a talented dressage pony, gets along well with her herd mates, can live out 24/7, is barefoot with no maintenance, and an easy keeper with no vices.

Talented dressage ponies are few and far between! This girl loves to work and would be happy to continue on a dressage path up the levels, I truly believe she could be an FEI horse someday. GR does have a scar on her left side, it has been extensivelv examined and a vet report is available upon request.

Ship in lessons: currently available Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Multiple time slots open.

Halcyonia Gypsy Rose is a well bred 2019 Welsh Cob mare. Standing at 13.3, she is an ideal prospect for National Dressage Pony Cup.

She has recently competed in her first dressage show, where she acted as if she was a seasoned pro and could not have gone better. She scored 66% and 68%, and won both of her classes, with a 7.5 for the centerline and halt.
Although she has been undersaddle for the last 2 years, she has only been in dressage training for the last 4 months

GR has a very sweet personality and loves to be fussed with. She trailers well and is a dream to handle. She handles new situations well and settles in away from home quickly. She hacks in a group and alone. She is an easy keeper and quickly gets along with new horses.

At this time I would consider her suitable for a capable junior or AA or a professional looking for a fun young horse to bring along. I think she will be a fantastic child’s pony in the future.

She has a scarred muscle on her left side behind the girth due to an old injury. It is hardly visible and purely cosmetic, having not caused her any issues. It has been extensively examined by several vets and she has been cleared for having a foal. Rider Biomechanics Clinic with David Sanders September 27th

This is a fantastic opportunity to find out what you could improve to increase your effectiveness in the saddle as well as how to help strengthen and fix any position issues, as well as improve your horses way of going.

4 rider spaces are currently available (it is ridden as well as unmounted)
