We're highlighting our past patients by adding them to our Hall of Fame with dedicated social media posts on Fridays 😎 So, in no particular order, today we are inducting Zod & Mulder into the Graham Mobile Veterinary Weight Management Services Hall of Fame 🎉

🐶 This weight loss journey initially began with Zod (right) leading the charge however Mulder (left) stepped up to the plate and became Zod's emotional support dog. These two characters both achieved a healthier weight, despite their many antics! 🥰 Congratulations Zod, Mulder, and family 🥳

So one of our clients got a new kitten... Just *kitten* 😹

These are Oliver's Before & After photos from his remarkable weight loss journey 😊 His case was a tricky one due to a secondary health condition that required Oliver to eat a hypoallergenic diet; until recently, there were no hypoallergenic diets on the market designed to pursue safe and effective weight loss. On top of this, Oliver also had a history of orthopaedic surgery so attaining a healthier weight was critical to his overall quality of life. Thankfully, a combination diet, Royal Canin MultiFunction Satiety + Hydrolyzed Protein, launched earlier this year and it was the perfect fit for Oliver's situation 😅 Diet combined with physiotherapy – and the incredible dedication of his owner – were the hallmarks of Oliver's success story.

From Oliver's owner: "He's been so much more agile that he jumped on the counter one night and ate the butter from the bowl! He's so much more cheeky now!"

🐱 Charlee's family felt they had tried everything to gain control over her weight and reached out to us to see what more could be done. Through extremely diligent weighing of the food and regular weight rechecks, Charlee achieved her ideal weight and continues to maintain her healthy weight through ongoing care. She loves to spend supervised time outdoors watching for her chipmunk friend, Chippy 🐿️ 🥰 Congratulations Charlee and family 🥳

🐶 Jasper was one of our early weight loss patients and was a more complicated case than average: he had suspected food allergies which really limited our diet selection. Thankfully, we found a non-chicken-based diet that agreed with Jasper's system and he achieved his ideal weight – and an improved quality of life – through the hard work of his family! 🥰 Congratulations Jasper and family 🥳

THIS. This is our "why". This is why we do what we do.

Recently, we received these photos from Lucky's owner and they literally brought tears to our eyes 🥹 When we met Lucky his obesity had restricted his mobility to the point where he could no longer climb into the windowsill nor onto the couch and his owner was not strong enough to lift him 😢 This spring, Lucky achieved a major milestone in his weight loss journey and has been enjoying watching the birds and critters outside – CATV 🐱📺 – daily ever since, as well as spending quality cuddle time with his owner on the couch 🥰 Lucky has a long journey ahead of him yet but we are so very proud of what his owner has accomplished with him to date 😊 Weight loss is not all about the number on the scale – these "real life" milestones are by far the most important goals to aim for, improving quality of life one paw step at a time 🐾 ❤️ 😍

🤪 FRIDAY FUNSIES 😹 Can't. Quite. Reach. 🤭

Mabel spent the afternoon "supervising" the flower planting from her catio 🌸 She demands that the plants grow faster so she can reach them 😆 (All plants were carefully chosen to ensure they are non-toxic to cats 😻)

We are so sorry for the radio silence... but we have great news to share 📣 We have been very busy moving and getting settled into our new home base (Dr. Graham's new house 🏠, if we're being honest). This morning we were inspected by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario to maintain our accreditation status and we passed with a perfect score 🥳😊🤩 Nothing will change in terms of the services we offer – we are still mobile 🚗 and telemedicine ☎️ only; Dr. Graham does not see patients at her home – but we are relieved and proud to have this major step behind us!

🐱 Jake was a particularly memorable patient as he had a unique weight loss goal. His owners simply wanted him to be able to fit through his cat door again so he could enjoy the great outdoors on his own schedule 🌲🌷🌤️ Within just a few weeks, Jake achieved success and this motivated his family to continue to pursue further milestones in his weight loss journey 🥰 Congratulations Jake and family 🥳
