Wasps are a problem this year. I had to protect my bees from wasps. I used apple cider vinegar and sugar 50/50 and a couple drops of dish soap. It killed thousands of wasps by my bees. Saved my bees. So it definitely works. As the mixture evaporated I just added water to the dishes and it still worked.
