Merry Christmas and Happy New year Clawfooters !!
Just sniffing in to see if you have booked your 2025 grooming appointments!!
I think I have gotten back to all those who messaged during the Christmas break if I have not please feel free to reach out again, I may have just lost your message in the shuffle !!
I will post the year’s availability if you would like to book dates please let me know which ones !!
Please remember all appointments are for 9 am but earlier drop off times can be requested 48hrs before appointment day.
Appointments are considered a No Show after 9:15 and will have a no show charge of half the groom price.

Hey Clawfooters !!
So recently Facebook has added a button to my messenger that says book. ( first screen shot )
I’m just letting you all know that I am not putting that button to use. You may use it to express your desired appointment day but it will not book you in on my end nor will it confirm your appointment.
I will be looking through my Facebook to see if I can remove it.

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨2025 calendars for grooming and boarding are now open !!! 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
Grooming can be booked until July. Rest of the year will be opened at a later date !!!
💥💥Please note that Saturday and Sundays will be closed for drop offs and pick ups on LONG WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS. 💥💥
I always recommend pre-booking your pets grooming appointments to keep their coats in great condition.
💸No show fees will be raised this year so please make sure to add your appointments to your calendar and set a reminder. 📱

Oh no the skunks are out and about!!
Thought I would repost this one!!

💥CLAW FOOT TUB PSA💥

🦨🦨🦨🦨ITS SKUNK SEASON 🦨 🦨🦨🦨

Here’s how to deal if your dog gets sprayed !!

💥DO NOT WET YOUR DOG WITH WATER !!!
You are going to need a box…. Or 5 of baking soda.
A few bottles of hydrogen peroxide
Liquid soap ( you can use blue dawn or you at home pet shampoo)

Put a box of baking soda into a bowl. Add enough peroxide to make a paste ( see video in comments for Consistency ) and about 2 tablespoons of liquid soap and mix well.

Smell your dog and find the spots that where hit. Usually this is the face, head, chest but smell all over anyway. Slather the paste onto these areas and work in well. ( avoid the eyes )
Let the paste sit 10 min and smell your dog again. If you still smell skunk reapply to those areas and let sit another 10 min. Do this until you no longer smell skunk.
You can now rinse your dog with water.
As a extra follow up you can rinse the areas or the whole dog with white vinegar ( no need to rinse the vinegar smell will dissipate)

This process should be done as soon as possible.

I apologize for not answering everyone right away! It’s been a busy few weeks with some time off to get my garden in and helping those who are joining me at BorrowedGround this growing season. I will get back to everyone tomorrow for sure !!!

Remember availability may depend on your dogs breed, size and coat condition.

Grooming schedule update !!
Things are booking pretty far out 🫣 new clients or those not booking for the year are finding it tough to get in for the time frame they would like. This is why I always suggest keeping your pups on a regular schedule of 4,6,8 weeks! I am open to booking your pet for the year to make sure we can get you in.
To make this easer here are all openings for the year. Please know some days may not be available for the type of dog you have but I will do my best to work with you.
No shows or late cancellations affect everyone so please remember your appointments. Appointments needing to be canceled can be done 48hrs before appointment day so as not to incur charges.
Nail appointments can be done 9-11 or 3-5 on days I’m in the shop 48 hr booking is needed.

Just sending out an update of grooming availability. And a chance to show off this big guy!!
Remember booking ahead and keeping your pet on a regular 2,4,6, or 8 week schedule will insure you get your pets on the books !!
I’m able to book a whole year for your pets grooming needs and your convenience!!
All appointment drop off times are 9 am but I do offer early drop off for grooming if this is requested 48 hours before your pets appointment.

Good morning Claw Footers! Here are the next few months of grooming appointments. Please note that all appointments are for 9 am unless an earlier drop-off time is requested. February 27, 28. March 6, 7, 14, 19, 20, 21. April 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30. May 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 15, 16, 30, 31.

The month of February is shaping up to be a busy one for boarding. As a small animal care facility, spots fill fast, so it's always best to book your pet's appointment as soon as you know your plans. Please remember to let me know what time slots you will be using to drop off and pick up your pet so I can provide you with the total cost. Time slots are available from 9am to 11am or 3pm to 5pm. Any changes to your booking must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your pet's stay to avoid any additional charges.

I have salted ( pet safe ) sanded and put down ash but please use caution when dropping off your pets. If you do not feel comfortable bringing them to the shop please feel free to text when you get here and I will meet you to bring them in. ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
