Lately @ 9 Finger Ranch
1️⃣ Beautiful sunset (and horses hoping to get a little evening snack)
2️⃣ Motivation to come home from the big field was obviously not very high
3️⃣ Ally loves haying! Needed a nap after following the tractors the whole day
4️⃣ Eli loves car rides and makes sure we don't forget to take him
5️⃣ And we do lots of trail rides - never gets old 🙂

We offer an easy 1hr tour on well-maintained bush trails - perfect for beginners or if you haven't been on a horse in a long time.
If you want to ride more, choose our Buckaroo ride - starting out with our bush trails to warm up and then head out in the open ... if you're lucky, you will meet a friendly cow herd grazing on our fields 🙂
Both rides work great for less experienced riders, beginners, and kids!

Some color added to our fields!
We are now housing a neighbor's cattle herd with a little more variety than our former all-black herd 😄 Our horses were quite confused that cows could look so different and diverse! By now, everybody - cows, horses ... and Ally after a little bit of extra training (see second picture) - are used to each other 🙂 So, if you want to enjoy beautiful scenery on horseback while watching cows and their cute calves, you should book our Buckaroo ride 😉

Smarties enjoys her snuggles and Snickers makes clear that he wants to have some attention as well ... At least they still seem to like us, even though we are slowly putting them to work now 😜

Long time no 'Lately @ 9 Finger Ranch' ...
1️⃣ Loooong line of riders if we have (almost) every horse along😆
2️⃣ Legacy is ready for his first full season as a guest horse 🤩
3️⃣ And Nova doesn't understand why she can't come along as well 🥹 (well ... she is not quite ridden yet)
4️⃣ Ally was dramatically starving ...
5️⃣ ... and Eli forgot his manners because we had a barbecue without including them 🤨
