This chart confirms the crazy warm seasons we have been having in our area! Our pets and ourselves are at risk for ticks anytime the temperature is over 0c and that was 84% of the days in 2024!
If your pet isn't already on flea and tick prevention, we strongly recommend starting it now.

Just a friendly reminder for the upcoming long weekend. We will be open tomorrow, Friday February 14th from 8am-6pm for appointments and food and medication pick ups. We will then be closed until Tuesday February 18th at 8am.
Please check your food and medication supplies and let us know if we can get something ready for you.
You can still make an appointment through our Vetstoria portal or even place food orders through My Vet Store 24/7.

We wanted to inform you that, due to the forecasted storm in our area tomorrow, we will be closing earlier than usual to ensure the safety of our team.

We will open at 8am and close at 5pm, Thursday February 13th. We have availability should you need an appointment and are also open for food and medication pick ups. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during this time.

We will resume normal business hours on Friday February 14th and we have appointments available as well. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.

By now you have all probably heard about the changes to the requirements for the importation of cats and dogs into the United States, effective August 1, 2024. The reasoning behind these changes is to protect the health and safety of people and animals, and prevent the reintroduction and spread of rabies in the United States. While we recognize the need to reduce this risk of rabies, we understand that these regulatory barriers will unduly impact many of our clients. We have hesitated sharing any information regarding this as it seems to be ever-changing, but we will do our best to keep you informed. This is what we know as of now:

Tomorrow is our big Fundraiser Extravaganza! We’ve raised well over $1000 so far for Dr. Mary Lynn’s volunteer trip to an SPCA and Wildlife Refuge in Africa! The caricature event is sold out, thank you to those who have booked their pets in to have one done! We have a huge bake sale with lots of generously donated yummy baked goods and we will still be selling tickets for our raffle baskets up until 1pm. Cash only please.

We need more heroes to lend a paw! If you know someone who has a dog or dogs that meets the criteria below, share our message! We could definitely use the help spreading the word about our upcoming Canine Blood Donor Clinic.
