By now you have all probably heard about the changes to the requirements for the importation of cats and dogs into the United States, effective August 1, 2024. The reasoning behind these changes is to protect the health and safety of people and animals, and prevent the reintroduction and spread of rabies in the United States.
While we recognize the need to reduce this risk of rabies, we understand that these regulatory barriers will unduly impact many of our clients. We have hesitated sharing any information regarding this as it seems to be ever-changing, but we will do our best to keep you informed.
This is what we know as of now:
Tomorrow is our big Fundraiser Extravaganza! We’ve raised well over $1000 so far for Dr. Mary Lynn’s volunteer trip to an SPCA and Wildlife Refuge in Africa!
The caricature event is sold out, thank you to those who have booked their pets in to have one done!
We have a huge bake sale with lots of generously donated yummy baked goods and we will still be selling tickets for our raffle baskets up until 1pm.
