Hello - my wife found this grey male tabby cat this afternoon in Russell, roaming on the central fitness trail near N. Russell Road. She took him to the vet. He has no chip and is not neutered.
He is very sweet and affectionate.

My dog (Libby) ran away last night around 11pm - we live in Embrun, Ontario on St Pierre Rd near the bike path

She is about 40 lb, back, border collie, whippet mix - microchiped,wearing a pink collar with pink and black paw prints.

Timid and friendly - when in new areas she likes to go under things - like picnic tables

I reported her missing to the Russell Village Clinic and the Embrun Vet Clinic as well as by law in enforcement in Embrun

Hello! Just reporting a dog sighting.

Young looking black and tan shepherd cross spotted here, came out of one corn field, ran across the street into another corn field. Had a purple collar on, slight limp.

There is a house in the area so I’m hoping he/she was just headed home. By the time I got out of my car with treats and a leash I couldn’t see him anymore

MISSING CAT
Ella is missing from our home on St. Augustin Rd. She is a petite calico female, friendly. Not wearing a collar but she is microchipped. Hoping she just went on an adventure or decided to hang out at someone’s place. However, people drive so fast on our road that I fear the worst 😥 so if you had an accident with her, or perhaps have spotted her on the side of the road, please let us know so we can get some closure. My kiddos miss their little Ella Bella 💔

By now you have all probably heard about the changes to the requirements for the importation of cats and dogs into the United States, effective August 1, 2024. The reasoning behind these changes is to protect the health and safety of people and animals, and prevent the reintroduction and spread of rabies in the United States. While we recognize the need to reduce this risk of rabies, we understand that these regulatory barriers will unduly impact many of our clients. We have hesitated sharing any information regarding this as it seems to be ever-changing, but we will do our best to keep you informed. This is what we know as of now:

Tomorrow is our big Fundraiser Extravaganza! We’ve raised well over $1000 so far for Dr. Mary Lynn’s volunteer trip to an SPCA and Wildlife Refuge in Africa! The caricature event is sold out, thank you to those who have booked their pets in to have one done! We have a huge bake sale with lots of generously donated yummy baked goods and we will still be selling tickets for our raffle baskets up until 1pm. Cash only please.

We need more heroes to lend a paw! If you know someone who has a dog or dogs that meets the criteria below, share our message! We could definitely use the help spreading the word about our upcoming Canine Blood Donor Clinic. We had a great time at the parade yesterday and raised $323 cash plus some food donations for the Food Bank. Wow! Thank you to Dr. Ingrid for bringing Hickory. He was such and good donkey and hit with young and old alike. We would like to send a huge shout out to the Starbucks in Embrun for donating the coffee and hot chocolate! So generous of them.
