Our sweet Pippa had to have surgery today to remove these huge bladder stones 😱 if she hadn’t started peeing blood we never would have known as she was acting completely normal! She is so stoic. Thankfully the surgery went well and the stones are out.

She is tired but recovering comfortably at home now ❤️‍🩹

I came across this beautiful quote today and wanted to share:

Big things have been happening round here.. officially meet Serendipity’s Theodore! A human baby! 🍼🐣

We’ve been asked many times and are talking a lot about where we are looking to take our Serendipity Poodles journey since welcoming our first baby. We are not 100% sure on how we wish to expand and progress but the first step is this:

1. Serendipity Guardian Home Opportunities

&

2. Priority Adult Dog Rehoming List

Let me explain!

A guardian home program allows us to grow our program and expand, without sacrificing any of our dogs happiness and need for love and attention. While we would love to keep all of our dogs with us, we understand that they will be happier with more one on one attention than we can give them, especially as our own family grows!

As a guardian home, you are the permanent home for one of our breeding dogs while they are in our program. Once they are retired (and spayed/neutered at our expense), full ownership transfers to the guardian family and they get to keep the dog forever ❤️

Becoming a Guardian Home gives you the opportunity to have one of our quality puppies or fabulous young adult dogs as a family pet while he or she remains in our program at no upfront cost to you!

By offering the guardian program, we are able to ensure that our dogs get to live the best possible lives in a loving, caring home where they receive as much one on one attention as possible.

Also, on occasion we have adult dogs come back to us and we are always looking for families who might be interested in skipping the puppy stage and having a quality older dog join their home! This is where # 2, our Priority Adult Dog Rehoming list comes in.

Happy SEVENTH Birthday to our sweet baby angel Pips 🥹

I don’t know how we got so lucky with this girl. Calm, Sensitive, Intuitive, Empathetic & Soulful are just a few words to describe her incredible spirit.

Every year that adds 7 years to their dog life reminds me how bittersweet and temporary our time with them is. And they love us selflessly and unconditionally every single day.

What a gift that is.

Yesterday, June 3rd 2023 marked one whole year since these babies were born! 🥹🎂

Each of them is so special and unique - a blessing to each of their families in their own way!

The warm and fuzzies I get watching each of our Serendipity Babies grow up and thrive is inexplainable. I’m forever grateful to be able to do what I love and have a front row seat to all my Poodle dreams coming true 🫶🏻🐾 can’t wait for the reunion this summer!

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our sweet .teddy today on May 18th 2023 💔

Teddy spent his last day on earth doing what he loves best - sleeping, grumbling at the younger dogs, begging for food and chasing his toys. Today was just like any other day. There were no warning signs until I was making dinner and called Teddy to come get a treat and he was nowhere to be seen. We ran around the house looking for him until we found him laying under the table barely moving except from a slight tail wag when we said his name. We could tell instantly that something wasn’t right. We called the Vet right away and rushed him there as fast as we could but it was too late and he was already gone when we arrived. He was only 7.

We are still in shock and I keep questioning if there was anything I did wrong or signs I missed but honestly there were none. The Vet told us that it was likely his heart and the only saving grace is that he did not suffer at all.

We would always joke that Teddy never had a bad day in his life. He was a singleton puppy who was doted on by his breeder before he came to us and was treated like royalty. He was always happy, scared of nothing, and never knew a stranger. He was so smart, and would always demand that we kept his food bowl full and his water fresh by scratching at it when it got too low. He always had us laughing and will be missed more than words can say.

I didn’t want the sun to set tonight because it signified the end of the last day our little Teddy was here. It’s just so hard to believe he is gone.

There is no such thing as “just a dog”. We lost a precious, irreplaceable part of our family today and we are devastated. He was fine this morning, and tonight we buried him next to the house. If that’s not a reminder of how fast life can change then I don’t know what is.

Please give your Dog a hug right now if you can. Tell them every day that you love them. You never know how long you have left.

We love you forever and ever our Teddy/Theordore Tedderson - if only our love could have saved you. You would have lived forever.

Happy 3rd Birthday to our Extremely Sensitive, Weirdly Vocal, Bestie Boy Murphy ❤️❤️

Smurf was our 2020 “Pandemic Puppy” and got more time with us because of it. He hates when we leave and follows us absolutely everywhere. This boy definitely feels things on a deep level 😅

Murphy has an undeniable calm energy about him (except for the first few minutes when someone comes over, lol) and always knows to place himself right by you if you’re having a day.

He is a true companion, loyal and dedicated.

Intelligent, smart, handsome, funny - this guy has it all. We love you Smurfy Boy, here’s to many more happy healthy years. 🐾

Happy Second Birthday to our Wildflower Paisley 🎂🌸

She has ✨ The Moment, Main Character, total opposite of a shrinking violet ✨ kind of energy.
Every day, all day, endlessly. Both us and all our other dogs find ourselves looking at her with confusion most days, wondering where on earth she came from 😂

Truly, she embodies what it means to live life to the full - and of course sometimes that means absolute chaos. But you can rest assured, that with Paisley around, you’ll never be bored 😂

I found myself reflecting today about the day we brought her home and the weeks that followed and ohhh my she was the naughtiest puppy 🥴
Smart as a whip, she has kept us on our toes ever since. As challenging as it has been sometimes, I wouldn’t change any of it.

Underneath the sometimes slightly unhinged exterior, Paisley has a heart of solid Gold. She has never met a stranger and always wants to be as close to you as possible. She is hilarious and quirky and has us laughing on the daily. She is a total weirdo. A walking juxtaposition. Sweet & Salty. Whiskey In A Teacup. You get the point, lol.

We love our sweet girl so so much and it feels crazy that she’s 2.

I have a feeling Paisley’s going to be an amazing Mama when the time comes (hopefully this year 🤞🏻)

Here’s to many more bright, bold, hilarious years. Happy Birthday Paisley. ❤️🐾

Through no fault of his own, Sweet Gilbert from our 2022 Pippa & Murphy litter is currently looking for a new family to call his own. His current family love him dearly, but feel that rehoming him is the best option because they are no longer able to give him the time, attention and training he needs.

Gilbert is a Blue Merle Phantom Parti boy with one blue eye. He is currently 9 months old, loves Kids, other Dogs & Cats, Is neutered & up to date on his shots.

Gilbert was assessed by a professional trainer earlier this week, and it’s important to note that Gilbert does have some fear & anxiety issues and is a big boy who gets very excited and does not know his size. For this reason we feel a home without very small children may be best, unless he can be watched around them so he doesn’t knock them over. He truly is a big silly Teddy Bear. The trainer feels he would benefit from having a larger dog play mate. We hope to find a home where Gilbert will not be left alone for long periods of time.

Gilbert will need time, patience and training commitment from his new family, but we have no doubt that he will be an incredible boy for the lucky family he ends up with. He’s a very intelligent boy. Gilbert does have a rehoming fee, and there will be an interview process prior to his placement.

Our Sweet Angel Pippa is in surgery right now getting spayed, which means she is officially retired. It truly is the end of an era 👑 😭

When we picked this girl up at the airport in 2017, we didn’t know the profound impact she would have on our life. She has blessed us with the most incredible babies and the families who have those babies now will tell you how special they all are. I couldn’t be prouder of her, and all of them.

Not only that, but she has been by our side with unwavering loyalty through everything we have been through over the last few years. There’s nothing on this earth that compares to the love of a Dog.

It is my promise to you Pippa, that I will love you for your whole life. You are not discarded or forgotten because you are retired - you are family, forever.

I’ll admit that I cried today after dropping her at the Vet. Pippa is ✨ anxious ✨ around new people and she tends to freeze up. Leaving her was hard. She’s also never had anaesthetic before so I pray all goes smoothly. I know she is in good hands.

Now, Pippa is a permanent Retired Princess just like Missy, and it’s time for Paisley to take the crown..👑
