Our sweet .pippa turns NINE today 🥹🎂

I pray for your healing, baby girl ❤️‍🩹 we love you so much 😭

Please join us in wishing our beautiful girl a Happy Birthday!!! Pippa’s day was spent frolicking in the snow, sleeping on a heated blanket, and getting all the love, cuddles and treats her heart desires ❤️

Never again will I take these milestones for granted.

Happy 9th Birthday, Pippa. Here’s to many more 😭🙏🏻

Maybe, I’m delusional. But, where there is life, there is hope. I’m holding onto that as tightly as I can.

On November 20th we got some devastating news that I’ve avoided sharing here on because somehow that makes it real.

But today as I prepare to take Pippa to the vet to get her stitches and staples out from her surgery, and face the conversation about what happens next.. there’s no hiding from reality.

Our sweet Pippa has cancer 😭💔

She had two lumps removed (one from her shoulder and one from her tail) and we had them sent off for analysis. Sadly, the one on her tail came back as being “malignant trichoepithelioma (also referred to as matrical carcinoma)” - a rare, aggressive type of hair follicule tumour.

The vet was able to remove most, but not all of the lump because of its difficult location.

We are shaken, heartbroken & devastated. I barely sleep most nights, waking up to the overwhelming realisation that my heart dog has cancer. It’s not rational, but at times like this I wonder if cancer will try to take everything I love.

I’ve read many times about “The dogs you have in your 20’s” - the ones that are by your side through literally everything.

While we’re busy living, they’re getting older, and we forget to look back and see that they’re still following us faithfully after all the years. They may be a little slower, but they are always there.

Pippa has always been so incredibly special to me, and we have a unique strong bond that cannot be replicated. She reads me, she knows me… and even as I was sobbing over her news, she was the one that came to comfort me, pushing her big cone into my lap 😭

She’s the most gentle, sweet, soulful amazing animal. She doesn’t deserve this.

But we’re not giving up, we’ll fight this until we can’t anymore.

It’s important to note that she isn’t suffering or in pain (except from hating her cone) and for that I am thankful.

Please pray for us as we navigate this. And of course for our sweet Pippa.

I pray she can be healed. We need a miracle.

We’re not ready to say goodbye yet. She’s due to turn 9 this month, she still has so much that she needs to do and see 😭💔

Sweet Rocco is still looking for his forever 💘💭

He's a 6 months old, Purebred AKC registered Standard Poodle Puppy with so much to give.

He's vet checked, had his shots including rabies, microchip & deworming.

He's excellent in his crate, fantastic with other dogs and our toddler, sweet, gentle, and grooms beautifully. He's non shedding of course, and we expect him to mature around 50lbs. His house training is coming along nicely and his calm yet silly personality is starting to really shine. He loves food, toys, and giving kisses.

We want to place him with his forever family as soon as possible so he can bond with them fully ❤️❤️

My Brown Eyed girl. My Phoenix. My love.

My heart hurts in a bittersweet way today.

She goes to her new forever home this evening. After trying for weeks to find her the perfect guardian home, a failed placement, and lots of heartache... I felt like God was telling me to let her live up to her name and find a new start. Even if it wasn't with me.

I made the decision that she should go to join her sisters with Chelsey

This isn't the end of Serendipity, just a slight detour. There's lots going on in my personal life right now, and I really need to just take a minute.

I'll be partnering with Chelsey along the way of her new breeding venture (I'll share more on that later) to bring you a litter of Standard Poodles down the line, so watch this space!

For now, Phoenix, spread your wings as your paws hit the red dirt; joining your incredible new family on their duck farm and acreage. Reuniting with your two litter mates Sadie & Layla, you have so much to look forward to. If only you knew.

New beginnings can be sad, but so so beautiful.

This Thanksgiving weekend, as all of our babies make their way into their new homes, I feel so beyond full of gratitude for every single person who has trusted us and chosen us to be the place they invest in something incredibly important - their new family member. It’s not something you can take lightly, so to have more people interested in our pups than pups we have available has truly filled my heart.

We pour our heart and soul into our little Serendipity Venture that started in 2017, and I’m so proud of everything it has become.

As many of you know, Paisley had to have an emergency C-Section and spay when she had this litter. As small scale breeders who focus on quality over quantity, this threw a wrench in our future Serendipity plans as she was our only active female.

So, we had to pivot, which leads me to the special announcement:

We are searching for an outstanding, special, caring and flexible guardian home here on PEI for our pick of the litter, Paisley and Murphy’s beautiful daughter… Phoenix 🥹🐦‍🔥💕

This means that for a fraction of the cost of a spectacular girl like this, you can have her join your family and we can keep her as part of our Serendipity Program / Family. Pending health testing of course.

We have been so blessed because this girl is everything we could ever dream of. She’s calm, sweet, cuddly, loves people and has excellent structure and bite. She’s beautiful, with her dark eyes that glisten green in the sun, and her kaleidoscope mosaic coat pattern, gorgeous phantom markings and white chest.

Shes incredible, and she could be yours 🤍

Palmer is calm gentle serenity, Posey is a bright beacon of energy and light who absolutely loves people. Palmer likes to sit back and observe before giving you all her love while Posey likes to be up in the action.

Life ran away with me and suddenly it was a week since I took these photos! 🤪

It always amazes me how fast Puppies grow.

Having a front row seat to watching their little personalities bloom is one of my very favourite things 🫶🏻🥹

Our families often say they feel drawn to certain baby just through a photo!
