Leigh-Ann has worked in the field of education with a specific lens on inclusion for 30+ years. She has a background in psychology, special education, and hold a masters in disability studies and applied behaviour analysis. Leigh-Ann is also an Aut

ism Consultant, Behaviour analyst, and a Certified Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator. At Smart Hearts Farm we are strong believers that nature, animals, and creative expression through arts combine beautifully to fill the heart! Join us for our full or half day farming, art, & skills development curricula. Our Equine Assisted Learning Curriculum is offered by our Certified Facilitator & the skills building programs are 8 or 12 weeks in duration. Call for more details about our programs!

Today, Mya got to meet one of the owners 's deep sea fishing whilst at work at Gallant's Clover Farm . Mya has been preparing the lunches for their tours.

Mya was also helping Diane in the bakery, packing donuts, she also prepared and weighed the yellow beans and the bags of mixed candies!

So true! The fewer toys the greater the chances for creative play...a stick has so many possibilities : horse, sword, wand, broom...the choices are endless.

We're lead to be believe that if a little is good, then more is better. But, the irony is when it comes to toys, the fewer kids have the more they play.
