We had an unusual visitor today! Our tech Amanda, brought her boa constrictor Jinks in for a visit. We couldn't believe how soft his skin was!

Christmas is around the corner! Ralph is insistent he's on the nice list... but we'll see...
Please check your pets' medicine cabinets and ensure you have enough to get through the holidays- request any refills of special order medications ASAP!

It took us an extra couple of days to finalize our results as Ralph demanded a recount (despite being declared unable to participate)... but announcing the winners of our costume contest!
Congratulations to Max and Maddie, and Theo! You (and your humans) have gift baskets to pick up at the clinic.
Thanks to everyone who submitted your adorable Halloween pictures- we loved seeing them! Now to plan something for Christmas...

We had some Halloween fun at the clinic today! Maisie may have won best costume for dressing up as Dr. Brooks 😂
Ralph of course had a few costume changes throughout the day- he has so many options to choose from! (Including a Connor McDavid inspired look- we think he's currently having some sympathy pains).
Dax the spider was the bestest boy for his nail trim.
And we got a delicious Halloween cake as a surprise from one of our amazing clients!

Oops... we got the gremlin wet!

Ralph thought we needed to have some Halloween fun this year... announcing our SAAC costume contest! 🎃👻😺🐶
We have 2 gift baskets full of toys and treats to give away- one for dogs and one for cats. Each basket also includes a voucher for a free nail trim, as well as a few treats for the humans.
To enter, just post a picture of your costumed critters in the comments below!
On October 31 Ralph will draw names from the entries (one dog and one cat) and announce the winners.
*note: Ralph was deemed ineligible to participate himself after he was caught trying to stuff the ballot box

Ralph tried sooo hard to be a rehab assistant today... he wasn't very successful on that front... but he was (as always) adorable 🤷‍♀️🐱❤

It's hot out there! Make sure you're keeping your furry friends safe in this heat!
Make sure your pets have access to plenty of water. Keep walks to earlier in the morning or later in the evening and be careful on the sidewalks/pavement as it can burn their paws. And don't leave your pets in the car! Even a few minutes can result in unsafe temperatures 🥵
Signs of heat stroke in animals include excessive panting, drooling, restlessness or agitation, increased heart rate, and vomiting or diarrhea.
Stay cool out there everyone!
