We had some Halloween fun at the clinic today! Maisie may have won best costume for dressing up as Dr. Brooks πŸ˜‚
Ralph of course had a few costume changes throughout the day- he has so many options to choose from! (Including a Connor McDavid inspired look- we think he's currently having some sympathy pains).
Dax the spider was the bestest boy for his nail trim.
And we got a delicious Halloween cake as a surprise from one of our amazing clients!

We have 2 gift baskets full of toys and treats to give away- one for dogs and one for cats. Each basket also includes a voucher for a free nail trim, as well as a few treats for the humans.
To enter, just post a picture of your costumed critters in the comments below!
On October 31 Ralph will draw names from the entries (one dog and one cat) and announce the winners.
*note: Ralph was deemed ineligible to participate himself after he was caught trying to stuff the ballot box

It's hot out there! Make sure you're keeping your furry friends safe in this heat!
Make sure your pets have access to plenty of water. Keep walks to earlier in the morning or later in the evening and be careful on the sidewalks/pavement as it can burn their paws. And don't leave your pets in the car! Even a few minutes can result in unsafe temperatures πŸ₯΅
Signs of heat stroke in animals include excessive panting, drooling, restlessness or agitation, increased heart rate, and vomiting or diarrhea.
Stay cool out there everyone!

On this Easter weekend, we want people to be aware that some of the things we love are incredibly toxic to the 4 legged family members we love.
Every part of the Lily is toxic to cats and they can develop acute kidney failure very quickly.
οΏΌIf you have cats, think about bringing a feline friendly flower arrangement into your home instead.
If your cat comes into contact with a lily, immediately contact your veterinarian or nearest emergency clinic.
