Name: Kipper
Nickname: Mr. Kip, Weasel
Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
Born: January 5, 2019
Adopted: September 5, 2020 from Oakville/Milton Humane Society
His story:
Kipper's previous owners had never had a dog before and didn't know how to handle such a high energy bundle of love. When he started to be destructive they had him live in the garage alone and would never take him out or play with him.
When they finally decided to take him to the shelter when he was one year old he hadn't been to the vet, had no training and had never met another dog or any other people. Needless to say people and dogs are pretty scary to him now.
But he is getting braver.
Kip is the cuddliest, most loving dog. He got his nickname - Weasel - because he uses his snout to push himself into the middle of any hug he stumbles upon.
His training is going great! He loves learning new tricks and has excellent obedience.

Likes: Cheese, Tennis Balls, Hugs, Water
Dislikes: When his brother runs under the couch and he can't reach him, unexpected movement

Nickname: Gus, Goose
Born: August 23, 2021
Adopted: September 27, 2021 from PATA in Samara, Costa Rica

His story:
Gus and his siblings were found in a boat with no mom. Gus, being the smallest of his siblings had wedged himself into the motor which had to be taken apart to get him out. He was taken in by an incredible foster mom who took great care of him.
Now, Gus is 3lbs of pure, ferocious tiger. No one is safe from his mighty pounce... especially not his brother who is 20 times his size. But when he's ready to sleep, he wants to be curled on Mom, Dad or his brother.

Likes: Fish, Climbing, Sneak Attacks
Dislikes: Vacuum, Being told No
