As a reminder, summer heat can be dangerous for pets, especially dogs with short snouts like Bulldogs, Pugs, and Frenchies.

Watch for signs of overheating like excessive panting or drooling, bright red gums, wobbling, or vomiting. If you notice these signs, get your pet to a cool area, offer water, and call us immediately.

New kitten at home? Here’s how to help give them the best start:

✔️ Vet visits every 3–4 weeks (until 16 weeks old)
✔️ Kitten-specific food to support development
✔️ Early socialization = less stress later
✔️ Parasite prevention is a must!

Drop a photo of your kitten, past or present, we’d love to see them! 📸

🥵With the summer heat, remember to check your pet’s water bowl more frequently!

Pets can’t sweat like humans. They cool down through panting and paw pad sweat, so staying hydrated is critical for regulating body temp.

Fireworks may be fun for us, but for pets, they can be scary, and the booms often continue well past the 4th of July.

🌩️Thunderstorms and other loud noises can trigger anxiety too. If your pet is showing signs of stress, don’t hesitate to reach out. We can discuss treatment options to help your pet feel safe and secure year-round. 💙

"Okay, I’ll admit it... my ears stink. And my human won’t stop searching it." 😬📱

But here’s the thing... search engines aren’t always right. Smelly ears can be a sign of an infection, allergies, or something more serious.

Instead of guessing, ask your vet. They’ll get to the root of the issue and recommend the right treatment - not just a quick fix. 🩺

For some pets, specialized diets, like hypoallergenic choices from Royal Canin can help to manage skin allergies from the inside out. Talk to your vet to find the best solution.
