Friends! Let’s show the world that even a cat hospital can bark for a good cause! At Garden City Cat Hospital, we’re proud to support our canine companions when it comes to helping pets in need. Dr. Chivers has entered his adorable rescue dog, Queso, into the Niagara Dogs 2026 Calendar Contest, a fundraiser for The Farley Foundation, which supports low-income pet owners. Please vote for Queso to help him earn a spot in the calendar! Each vote is just $1, and every dollar makes a difference.

Hello, everyone! We’re selling raffle tickets for this adorable hand-made crocheted cat (lovingly made by one of our clients!). All ticket sales go directly to the Animal Assistance Society of Niagara to help support them in all the work they do. Tickets are $2 each or three tickets for $5. The draw is in mid-December. 🐱

Over the month of October, we fundraised for the Farley Foundation, with a goal of $1,000. We’re pleased to report that we met our goal, raising just over $1,020. That money will be sent to the amazing folks behind the Farley Foundation, who make it possible for low-income earners to access much-needed pet care. A big thank you to EVERYONE who donated and/or helped spread the message. We appreciate each of you and we’re grateful for your generosity. As a special ‘thank you’ we raffled off a beautiful cat-themed gift basket, kindly put together by GCCH’s receptionist extraordinaire, Crystal. This year’s winner is Ksenia, who donated on behalf of her fur baby Smokey. Congratulations to Ksenia on winning the gift basket! Let’s do this again next October, everyone! 🐱💕🐾

With only one day left in the month of October, we are SO CLOSE to our $1000 goal for the Farley Foundation fundraiser. We are just $50 short! If you want to help us meet our goal (which means helping pets in need), please consider dropping by or calling the clinic tomorrow! And remember: You’ll get a ballot for the awesome cat-themed gift basket with a minimum $5 donation. Don’t miss out. We’ll draw our winner on Friday! Thanks to everyone who’s supported this cause!

Since it's the Thanksgiving weekend, it's the 'purr-fect' time to express our gratitude! We're off to a great start with our Farley Foundation fundraiser (almost halfway to our goal of $1,000)! Hello, GCCH family! We’re dedicating the month of October to help fundraise for the Farley Foundation, which provides support for low-income pet owners. This year, we’re raffling off a fun cat basket, filled with awesome goodies especially for your fur babies! A minimum of $5 gets you a raffle ticket for this amazing basket and a ‘paw’ to add to our Paw Wall of Fame. Last year, we reached the bronze Farley level, and we hope to achieve that (or more!) again, by raising a minimum of $1,000 for the Farley Foundation. Stop in before the end of October to be a part of this incredible fundraiser which directly benefits pets in our community. 🐾🐾
