Jenna is an 11-year-old Golden Retriever with a heart full of love and a determination to keep moving. She joined us in August, facing challenges like hind-leg instability, joint damage, and limited range of motion.
With her specialized treatment plan focusing on pain management, muscle strengthening, and improving mobility, Jenna has been making great strides toward staying comfortable and active in her golden years.

Star Senior Spotlight: Meet Miley!
This sweet, 10-year-old Corgi joined us in May to find relief from back pain. Though she’s a bit shy and nervous, Miley has made incredible progress with a tailored combination of laser therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises. Cordo is a spirited 9-year-old Springer Spaniel who first came to us in January 2023 with concerns related to aging and arthritis. As part of our senior care program, he benefits from laser therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise designed to improve his mobility, reduce discomfort, and enhance his quality of life. We’re thrilled to see how much these treatments have helped Cordo stay active and joyful as he ages.

Meet Henley, our first Star Senior in honour of Celebrate Seniors Month!
Henley is a 15-year-old Golden Retriever and a beloved long-time client. She started swimming with us back in 2017, and in March 2020, she joined our Senior Care Program.
Since then, Henley has been coming in for regular maintenance appointments to stay happy, healthy, and active.

Poppy is a sweet 1-year-old Scottish Terrier Mix who comes to the Centre for specialized treatments to help with pain and hypersensitivity in her left hind leg caused by nerve issues.
Her therapists use a combination of scar tissue massage, neurodynamic stretches, manual therapy, laser therapy, and laser acupuncture to keep Poppy feeling her best. She’s making great progress, and we love seeing her bright spirit shine through!

Meet Kevin, a brave 3-year-old French Bulldog! Kevin started coming to our center in August after undergoing surgery for intervertebral disc disease, where a herniated disc was pressing on his spine. Thanks to his surgery and ongoing rehab, he's doing so much better now!
The biggest challenge for Kevin these days? Staying calm! The canine treadmill has become his best friend, providing short, controlled walks that keep his recovery on track. Keep up the great work, Kevin!

This week, she was fitted with her custom Walkin' Pets wheelchair, and the results were heartwarming. Canine wheelchairs are life-changers for dogs like Peggy, giving them mobility, independence, and the chance to stay active.

Casper came to the Centre following a rare form of IVDE that left his left front limb paralyzed. At that time, he couldn’t walk, but look at him now! With hard work and determination, Casper is already doing the cavaletti poles! We’re so proud of his progress and excited to see how far he’ll go!
