On this Easter Sunday we have a basket full of good eggs to share with you🐇
Cinnamon a newly adopted dog went missing from Kanata. There had been some sightings but he was very scared and hard to approach. After over a week on the run Cinnamon is back home safe and sound. "Owner and a fantastic team of volunteers were out in the area of the sighting from the day before, putting up flyers, knocking on doors, driving and walking the area. Around 9:30 PM owner got a call that he had been spotted on Stittsville Main heading towards Fernbank. A volunteer in the area that was close was able to get there within minutes and followed him in her car while they let owner know where he was going. He was followed all the way to Fallowfield where his mom was able to catch up to them. She followed everything the rescue team had advised. Got out slowly and sat down. Began to throw him treats. He hung around and ate but would not come close. His mom had amazing patience. He left and went up a laneway but she sat and waited. He came back out and came for more treats. Clearly tired and hungry from 7 days on the run, and travelling more than 35KM when she gently opened her car door, threw in some treats, he decided the fun was over and jumped in. Time to head home"🐾💕
Ozzy a pet snake missing from the Nepean area was found safe after a month."We have a happy ending!
Almost 4 weeks after he went for a wander, my daughter's pet ball python has been found!
She came into the kitchen around 1:00 a.m. last night, to find her two cats standing with their faces pressed up against the oven. She found her snake under the stove, a place she had checked several times over the last month, in the room right next to his terrarium.
He is a little dehydrated but otherwise well, and getting the care he needs"🐍
A black/brown tabby cat had been seen in Beachburg for a few months and was finally taken in. It turned out to be Twiggy missing from Westmeath. Twiggy is home for Easter after 5 months😽
We were all rooting for sweet Rosie a mini golden doodle puppy. She went missing in an unfamiliar area with her leash attached. There had been some sightings reported but she was running scared. After 4 days on the run is some very cold temperatures she was secured safe and sound. A family put food out, she came to eat and didn't run when she was eating🐾💕
Luffy a black labrador mix went missing from Ottawa. A sighting was posted on the page and his owner went to the area and was able to secure him after 4 days on the run🐾💕
Blaze a beautiful husky mix went missing from St. Andrews West. After 4 days on the run also he was found. From his owner "BLAZE IS HOME!!!
Was found by a coyote trapper in the bush about 1km from home. Minor foot injury that doesn’t seem to need animal hospital. Hungry but very happy to be home and back with his big buddy!

Daisy a pretty brittany spaniel that went missing in the Kanata area. There weren't any reported sighting of her. After 2 days she returned home. From her owner "Daisy is home safe and sound now!! We found her sleeping in her bed on the front porch just after midnight. Big thank you to all neighbours and friends who went far beyond to help in the search for our sweetie. We are very lucky to have such strong community support in times like this…thank you from the bottom of my heart.❤️
