Lil Peanut (Male) continues to grow and thrive under his mommas watchful eye. He’s already getting big and well I get excited and need to share about how cute and soft he is. He already knows my voice too! 😻

Josie and Steveigh have both gone into their first heat. We allow one heat before we must breed to avoid pyometra. This is a good sign that Spring is around the corner and even Boden is starting to practice his manly skills and he’s only 7 months! Merrick was 15 months before he even cared to try. It’s tricky balancing males and females but stay tuned because baby season is upon us😻. Sweet Boden is a lot like his momma Blossom!

Munroe is doing much better, she had an extremely long painful birth with the first kitten not being viable. She’s attentive and loving on the little peanut, who is gaining weight and loves the warm nest.

Munroe has had her kitten overnight. Shes nursing now but is very tired. Unfortunately the first kitten was not viable and so we have one solo kitten for our lady to take care of.
Fingers crossed the little peanut continues to grow and thrive. It’s early days but it’s a beautiful white kitten who appears to be a male. I can usually confirm the gender by day 3 once all the swelling subsides after the birthing process.
The first on the reserved list has been notified and I will only move down the list if this family decides to pass. Please note our Cattery always has the first selection pick of any litters to ensure a strong breeding line moving forward.
This is the loneliest part of breeding I must confess. Thankfully once the grief settles and you see a new little life you garner the strength to carry on. That along with good supports and friendships like our Maplemoon Family😽. Congratulations to parents Merrick & Munroe our bonded couple…little honeymooners I call them!
