🎁✨ Meet Angel — our tiny tuxedo kitten who visited Avenue Animal Hospital for her very first vaccines today!

With her perfect black-and-white coat and those wide curious eyes, she looked just like a little Christmas present sitting under our tree. 🎄🐱💝

We think Santa might need to double-check his list… because this little gift is almost too cute to be real!

✨🐾 Handsome Jazz spent the day with us at Avenue for his neuter! 🐾✨

This sweet boy is extra special — and we mean that literally! Jazz is what we call a cryptorchid, which means he only had one testicle where it should be, while the other one stayed hidden up in his abdomen. 💛

Don’t worry — with a little extra care and a slightly different procedure, our team made sure Jazz was safe, comfortable, and spoiled with all the love he deserves. He handled everything like an absolute champ! 🐶💙

We’re so proud of him and couldn’t resist sharing his sweet face with all of you today. Feel better soon, Jazz! ✨💛

Travelling with your pet this winter season? Be sure to never leave them alone in a vehicle as it can lead to them developing hypothermia. Temperatures can quickly become freezing in your car as they hold in the cold – picture them like giant freezers on wheels when they are parked and turned off.

Say hello to Fundy, the sweetest little merle Frenchie who popped in for a visit at Avenue Animal Hospital today! 💙🐶✨

With those big expressive eyes, soft speckled coat, and the tiniest little wiggles, he had everyone completely smitten. Honestly… too cute for words. 😍

We can’t wait to see this handsome boy again!

When does my pet become senior? The short answer is it really depends.

Cats are generally considered senior after 10 years of age. Dogs on the other hand don’t have a “universal age of seniority” because their breeds differ so much in size. Dogs are believed by experts to have reached their senior status when they reach the last 25 percent of their breeds lifespan. Take a look at this helpful data from the American Kennel Club.
