Adoption Update: ♥ Ember Marlene (Thelma) & Cinder Sylvia (Louise) ♥

" Hello! They are settling in well. Thelma is now Ember Marlene and Louise is now Cinder Sylvia. Despite weighing less combined than our other cat, they are very clearly in charge of the place - they keep stealing his food right out from under him. Poor guy doesn't know what hit him (that last picture is the face he made when he realized the bedroom was no longer off limits to the girls). "

Calvin is a very affectionate young boy. He loves to play and then take a nap. He does get along with the other cats but untested with dog.

Finn is a high energy older puppy (approximately 10 months) with no manners. He is very smart. He needs someone who will have the time to provide lots of exercise and a consistent routine. In order to be adopted he must be registered in a basic obedience class that is recommended by the shelter.

✅ Bingo will be moved on Monday, Dec 23rd (Christmas Special) and Dec 30th.

For our Christmas Bingo on December 23rd, we are adding $50 for each game.

❣️ Game 6 Jackpot will be $3,500 if you win in 50 numbers or less and $1,000 after the 50 numbers (less $50 for every number called!)

You can now renew your dog license for 2025. 🐕

Why to license?
✅ It’s the By-law. Every dog in Saint John must be licensed.
✅ It shows your dog is up to date on vaccines.
✅ It’s for public safety.

Just days before Christmas, we are once again hit by a heartbreaking act of theft. The donation can that was meant to help our furry friends find loving homes was stolen.

This happened last December 16th at the Irving Main St. West.

To the people who are doing this, please know that stealing from shelters harms not only the organization, but the vulnerable animals we care for.
