Veterinary Assistant Appreciation Week is celebrated nation-wide the last week of July. Our veterinary assistants provide unique and valuable services and fill an indispensable role that supports every other person and pet within our hospital.

He's 12 weeks old. His favourite thing to do is go work with Mom and his favourite place to sleep is on Mom. We think Mom might be his favourite hooman 🤫
If Mom could wish for anything in the world for him it would be to be 100% healthy forever!

Sampson went missing on the West Side near Seaside School and Argyle area. He is an older gentleman and has daily medication he needs. He is microchipped.

Some new guidelines when traveling to the US with your dog!

Starting on August 1, all dogs entering the U.S. (including those that left the U.S. and are returning, and regardless of the country they are coming from) must be:
• healthy upon arrival
• at least 6 months of age
• microchipped
• accompanied by a CDC Dog Import Form receipt and required vaccination and veterinary documents.

Additional requirements may apply depending on where the dog has been in the last 6 months and whether or not the dog was vaccinated in the United States.

We have decided to expand our Client Care Team. We are a multi-doctor mixed animal practice seeking a Client Care Representative to work alongside our passionate team of professionals. The ideal candidate is an individual who is driven to exceed our client's expectations with exceptional service and patient care. We are searching for someone who shares a common vision and core values, thrives in a team environment, possesses excellent communication skills with clients and coworkers, and is self-motivated to go above and beyond for our clients and their pets.

Qualifications: Veterinary Assistant Diploma, Medical Administrative Diploma, and/or equivalent certification.

Applicants must have at least two (2) years of experience working as a Receptionist OR Medical Administrative Assistant. Applicants who do not meet this criteria will not be selected for review.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing incoming calls, medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Identifying and addressing customer needs
- Providing general product and service information
- Restocking inventory
- General cleaning duties.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive wage package with extended medical and dental benefits. Other benefits include: paid time off, discounted pet and veterinary services, continuing education stipend, and more.

Meet Dezi! He is a young 10 years old❤️
His favourite thing to do is play with his chuck-it ball
His favourite place to sleep is with his Mom🥰
He has an interesting story! When he was a young teenager he got up on the counter and found Mom's wedding AND engagement rings and ATE them! Dad checked his 💩 carefully until one night around 4 am Dad took Dezi out and caught a glint in the 💩 under the streetlight and there were the rings! Washed and returned to Mom!
If Mom could buy him anything in the world she would get more chuck-it balls!
