Grooming your puppy isn't just about looking good—it's essential for their health and well-being. Starting early helps them get used to the process, making it less stressful for both of you as they grow.

Why Start Young?

Familiarity: Early grooming helps your puppy get comfortable with handling, brushing, and bathing.

Health Checks: Regular grooming allows you to check for parasites, skin issues, or abnormalities.

Bonding: Grooming sessions can strengthen the bond between groomer and your puppy.

Behavior Training: It helps instill good habits and reduces anxiety around grooming tools.

Regular grooming not only keeps your puppy looking great but also sets the stage for a happy, healthy life. Start young, stay consistent, and enjoy the process!

I typically recommend starting Puppies as early as possible with my "Pup trims" which is just a feet, face, f***y with bath and nails. This gets them clean and helps familiarize them with the grooming process. Usually repeated every 3-4 weeks a few times before we do a full all over body haircut. These sessions are shorter than the average groom, I give treats and will even sit in the floor playing with them after their groom to ensure that visiting me is a positive experience 😀
