Working spots are $180. Working dogs must have completed my Manners or Advanced classes (or equivalent to). Intermittent crating will be required for working dogs.

A perfectly perfect morning to start a book by my most favorite author and dog trainer extraordinaire Patricia McConnell, Ph.D. . I have had it a while but put off reading it as I know how much her writing speaks to and moves me...which often means I read in a puddle of tears hahaha♥️. I'm just a few pages in and already hooked and teary😉.
I've said it thousands of time....reading ANYTHING by Patricia McConnell is more than well worth your time. She is absolutely brilliant!
Note: quiet, content dogs too♥️😊...border collie is lying beside me on the floor in front of the couch of course♥️🐾

Date: Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9am-3pm.
Location: 840 Loch Lomond Road

Working spots are $175. This involves bring your dog to work in individual training sessions. Working dogs must have completed my Manners or Advanced classes (or equivalent to). Crating will be required for all dogs when not working.

Audit spots (attendance without a dog) are unlimited. Audit spots are $75.

A little piece of what I work so hard at with my own dogs...
Riggs and I got to compete at the 2023 UKI Agility Canadian Open right here in Saint John in September. While we didn't make our mark in every event, we did have a Top Ten placement in the Speedstakes event with only a FEW TENTHS of a second shy from a podium placement. We placed 4th in Speedstakes among some of the world team competitors. WOW! This boy is just beginning his career. I can't wait to see where we go! Love working with my dogs so very much!!

During my break from group classes in December I will be booking more private consults at home. Privates are an excellent way to work on specific issues and get a lot of feedback. They compliment the work done in a group class very nicely.

Manners Training Class openings for classes starting Tuesday January 2nd from 7:30-8:30pm and Thursday January 4th from 6-7pm for 6 weeks. Dogs of any age over 5 months old will be accepted for this class.

This class is designed for puppies and dogs over 5 months old. This is a basic obedience class geared towards every day manners and skills. Skills taught include (but are not limited to) sit and down stay, coming when called, eye contact, loose leash walking, how to prevent and deal with jumping and how to create a more calm and thoughtful dog. A perfect course to build on foundation skills or polish up current skills to help have an extra enjoyable dog and a more enriching relationship!
