6-year-old Welsh X gelding • 12.2hh

Boomerang is a fun and versatile pony ready for his next rider!
• Riding/Training: He has a lead change (not auto), past jumping experience, and is brave to a fence, though he hasn’t jumped recently. For the past two years he’s been used as a beginner pony for walk/trot and ba****ck lessons, so his potential hasn’t been fully brought out.
• Temperament: Easily handled by kids, friendly, and enjoys attention. In the paddock he’s more on the dominant side, but he’s still respectful and gets along well.
• On Trails: He goes out frequently and is solid at walk, trot, and canter. Safe, fun, and confident outside the ring.
• Care: Lives out during the summer, comes in at night through the winter. Barefoot, sound, and up to date on everything.

Boomerang makes a fantastic lead line pony but also has the ability to do much more with the right rider to bring him along. He’s the type kids can love on, hack out, and grow with.

Boomerang is a fun and versatile pony ready for his next rider!

Client Reminder – Cancellation Policy

Hello everyone,

We understand that this weekend’s bridge closure has made scheduling more difficult. As a small business, we truly value your support and flexibility. I’d like to kindly remind everyone that we have a 48-hour cancellation policy in place. We always do our best to accommodate our clients needs, and in emergency circumstances we will always be flexible! However, we simply cannot afford to have so many high demand spots open up with less than 48hrs notice.

Moving forward, in order for me to sustain the business and continue offering quality programs, cancellations will need to be made at least 48 hours in advance. We are no longer able to cancel last minute due to weather or bridge closures. There will be no cancellations due to rain. On days when outdoor riding isn’t possible, lessons will focus on other valuable aspects of horsemanship and equestrian education.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support. I look forward to seeing you at the barn!

Looking for your next safe, dependable partner? This 15-year-old, 15.1hh Palomino mare could be the perfect match. She is the ultimate “more woah than go” type — steady, quiet, and happy to go out on the trails alone or in a group. With a submissive nature in the herd, she’s easy to get along with.

She goes well both English and Western, will pick up when you ask her to, moves off the leg, and goes in a nice frame. She knows how to jump but prefers a more relaxed job — perfect for someone who enjoys flatwork and exploring rather than a show program. She is trail obsessed, would go for HOURS.

While she is safe for kids, she thrives with a confident rider and a quieter schedule; she doesn’t enjoy being used in a busy lesson program and prefers to bond with her own person.

Up-to-date on teeth, vaccines, deworming, and farrier. Currently lives out 24/7 but enjoys coming in during winter nights.

Cons:
-she is skinny right now! Needs muscle and to gain fat
-she HATED and i mean HATED being a lesson pony for summer camp. She was riding beautifully and FULLY safe on the ground for a 12 year old and an 8 year old- they adore her. after camp she was MEAN on the ground. She is still trying to bite when being tacked up, but has started to realize she only has 2 riders now and is coming around. She would definitely LOVE her own people, and tbis behaviour would stop as it only started after camp. She was NEVER dangerous when being ridden, she would just stop.

Celestine Stables is a friendly, family-oriented horseback riding farm in Saint-Lazare that specializes in children’s riding programs, pony clubs, family experiences, and beginner lessons. We are growing and looking to welcome a new team member who shares our love for horses, teaching, and creating fun, safe experiences for kids and families.

🐴 Position 1: Riding Coach (Weekends)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, upbeat coach who:
• Has extensive horse experience and a strong foundation in horse safety
• Has experience teaching children and beginners
• Is friendly, patient, and able to create a fun, supportive environment
• Is comfortable teaching private lessons, semi-privates, pony clubs, and family experiences

🐴 Position 2: Barn Support (Morning & Night Checks)

We also need a reliable person for daily horse care:
• Currently about 30 minutes morning & night (checks, feed, water, general monitoring)
• Winter work will expand to include stalls, turn in/out, hay, grain, and blanketing

✅ Ideal Candidate
• Experience in both teaching and barn care is a huge plus!
• Must be dependable, caring, and a strong communicator.
