‼️Perfect opportunity for an ambitious rider on a budget ‼️

Finder Keepers- Feather is an 2019 mare by the famous Popeye K, standing 15.3 hands. She was started lightly in the spring for 2023 and was then bred. She is now ready to be weaned from her foal and start a career as a riding horse.

✨Potential opportunity: I would love to keep this mare in my program but am realizing I don’t have the time to give her enough work. I would be looking for an experienced rider who is looking to ride a quality horse, and assist in her training. I would restart her under saddle ( with this persons assistance if they had experience starting horses) and would then continue to give her a ride or two a week while you get to ride her the rest of the time with the goal of developing her into a show horse. Lessons would be mandatory. No lease fee but would be looking for someone to cover her expenses. Opportunity to show next summer if the mare is ready.

This is a real deal horse who is worth every second of developing. Will be very selective. Located in st lazare Québec

Attention all Riders and Trainers

Exciting news!

AERSO have received confirmation that we will be able to use the following shows as Qualifiers for Jeux Equestre 2024:

WCP Trillium August 3-4 and August 10-11

AERLL Regional Final, Blainville- August 30- Sept 1

Important reminders about qualifying for JEQ

1. You Must be an AERSO member PRIOR to any of the qualifying shows. Follow the HorseReg link to purchase your 2024 Aerso Membership. https://horsereg.com/ #!/events/association-equestre-regionale-du-sud-ouest-aerso-2024

2. Please advise Leslie Beaulac and Alanna Parker of when and where you will be competing to try and qualify, and in which division. It is important that you are competing in and comparable division to the one you wish to qualify for at JEQ.

3. After the competition, please provide Leslie and Alanna with your results.

4. Aerso can send 4 riders per division to JEQ, therefore, if we have more then 4 riders trying to qualify for one division, we will keep a point system to select the 4 top ranked riders.

We are very excited to rebuild our Sud Ouest team for Jeux Equestre and hope to send a great team to Becancours in September.

LBE show team started off the season on a high
A few new combinations stepped into the ring and the other established combinations made the move up to a new division.
A few highlights included
Small Talk Champion Hi/low hunter
Camélia FCZ and Ariane Forêt Réserve champion Hi / Low hunter
Small Talk, Camélia and Imperia took a 1,2,3 sweep of the hi/ low hack!
Camélia and Ariane had some excellent ribbons ih the 3 foot children’s
Imperia and Sophia Jefferson moved up to the 3 foot children’s and put in solid trips after a year off of showing
Small Talk and Sophia also have stellar trips in the same division and won the hack
Purple Rayne and Simply Grand had excellent trips in the .75 jumpers and gained lots of experience in a new ring
Huge thank you to Ivona for keeping thing running smoothly and all the parents for their help and support
