I am currently in Iqaluit grooming g dogs for the week at the animal hospital/sheltet. These woman are incredible! These are 5 week old puppies that will be available for adoption when they will be 8 weeks old. The mama dog is sweet, and these puppies are so sociable it is a credit to everyone that works here. If any of my friends are thinking about a husky mix these puppies are definitely something to consider. There are 9 available - the little white one has a forever home.

Yoshi! Puppy love 💕 first groom, 4 months old! His owner has been cutting his nails, desensitizing him to baths, dryers and shavers! He acted like an old pro on the table! It makes a big difference to puppy’s attitude towards grooming.

This little guy is an old dog and has trouble standing for a long time on the table now. The name of the game either the seniors is to make them as comfortable as possible and get them cleaned up as fast as you can, but still bring out their adorable facial expressions.

My personal dog - sometimes life gets in the way and your dog’s grooming is not your first priority.
She is a young poodle puppy going through coat change and she chewed all the hair off her ears. I can tell you once she was released from the tight matting to skin she is like a new dog / energetic, pestering my older dog to play!!! Grooming on a regular basis does benefit your dog’s mental health as well as their physical.

Meet Lea - she is a sweet girl who I have been working with to desensitize her to the “grooming” experience. She came to me for her first grooming at 6 months of age. Today I managed to finish her groom (thanks to her lovely owner who brought her every two weeks to get her nails done and get used to me). She is work in progress. She could not tolerate scissors on her muzzle or her legs, but it will come. When she will be fully table trained, this girl will be beautiful!

This is my personal dog Daphne.
I always shave my dog’s faces but I wanted to grow them out and see how I liked it. With Daphne I shaped her head and ears and trimmed her face slightly. Then I went a little shorter on her face and finally I shaved it. Suddenly her head takes on a completely different shape, her ears look fuller and her eyes become intelligent. Quite the metamorphosis.
