HI!! My name is Keena! I am almost 3 years old but still a puppy at heart! I hurt my paw last week so our manager took me home with her to meet her dogs and give me some extra attention and love! I get along great with her dogs (I get along better with the male than the female but he’s still a puppy just like me and Callie is a bit older) I am a little protective of my food but nothing to be worried about. I’ve decided I don’t like cats very much so a cat free home would be best for me. I am a HUGE water dog. A little pool for me in summer would be wonderful and make me so happy! I might even enjoy going to the lake with you! 😉 I need lots of love and cuddles and I need to be with someone who is patient in giving me time to adjust to my new home, I may have some separation anxiety at first as well. And if I didn’t already mention.. I LOVE cuddles 🥰 🐶🐾💕

There have been some concerns lately that our adoption prices are too high in comparison with other animal adoption places. However, we do not get government grants and we operate solely on fundraising and donations. Our prices are based on Neuter/Spay, vaccination, microchip, vet care and animal care at the shelter. Also, If your animal is fixed and chipped you can get their license for free at the town office. And to anyone who might not already know, we are a NO KILL shelter!!
