Meet Ariel!
This sweet 7-year-old girl was surrendered by her owner and is an absolute love bug. She hasn’t lived with dogs, but hasn’t been fazed by them in the store.
She is spayed, and up-to-date on her shots.

We loved hosting this event yesterday!

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE PETS AND PEOPLE WHO CAME OUT TO PET PHOTOS YESTERDAY. The even raised almost $700! Special thanks to the miraculous Santa and Santa Paws who saved the day. Santa truly had everything in his magical bag to make the event a success. Special thanks also to "Mrs. Claus", Karen who was so kind and friendly. Santa and his family are new to Charlotte County and we are so lucky to have such kind people move to our community. This family is all about giving and have donated their time to so many great causes. Thank you to our photographer, Patrick Walsh, and volunteers, Stephanie Walsh and Jeannine Dennison Fowler. Thank you to Pet Valu for hosting and providing squeakies and treats. This was the first pic taken of the day. Join us for this fun fundraiser on Sunday. This will be a holiday backdrop with props AND SANTA WILL BE THERE! Hope to see you there. $20 includes your sitting and a digital photo to be sent to you when edited.

Milo is about as cute as it gets.
This cheeky chap is just two years old, doesn’t seem fazed by dogs, and loves to cuddle.
He’s up to date on his shots, is neutered, and has been treated for fleas/ticks.

Some donations are starting to make their way into our donation bin!
Our challenge to our pet parent community this weekend is to fill our donation bin for the St George Animal Shelter and the Charlotte County SPCA 🐶💙🐱🩷
For every food/litter/treat item purchased for donation, your name goes in the draw for our goodie basket.
We also have our Companions for Change adoption event happening from 1 pm to 3 pm. Come and meet Ginger and Milo, our in-store adoptables, and meet cats from the Charlotte County SPCA who are also looking for their new homes. 🐈🐈‍⬛

Come visit us this weekend as we host our Companions for Change adoption event, with these two beauties (Milo and Ginger) from the St. George Animal Shelter, and the Charlotte County SPCA will also be here from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 with adoptable cats from that shelter.
We’ll be raising money through rounding-up your sale, and we’ll also have products both shelters require that you can purchase for donation to either SGAS or CCSPCA - and we’ll make sure they get them.
Looking forward to seeing you in-store!

Donation day!
Not only were we able to fill a vehicle with food and supplies for the Charlotte County SPCA this weekend, we were also able to hand over the cheque from our fundraising efforts in June for $2,390.76.
We love supporting our community.

Nail trims are happening now!
Vet techs from the St George Vet are currently in-store doing nail trimming until 3 p.m. today.
It’s first come, first served, minimum *cash only* donation of $15 per pet.
All funds raised will go to the St George Animal Shelter.

It’s nail clipping time again!
This Saturday we are hosting another nail clipping fundraiser for the St. George Animal Shelter.

Date: Saturday, September 30
Time: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost: Minimum $15 cash donation

As always, vet techs from the St. George Vet will be doing the clipping.
This is a first come, first served event for cats, dogs, or rabbits.

Meet Ginger!
This little lady is our current adoptable in-store, and she’s looking for the right home for her unique personality.
At two-years-old, Ginger needs time to get to know you before she really starts coming out of her shell. Once she trusts you, she’s warm and friendly, but will let you know when she’s done socializing.
The perfect home for Ginger is quiet with older children only who will understand and respect her boundaries. She would likely tolerate another respectful pet, but would just as likely prefer to be the only one in the home.
If you’re looking for a lap cat, she’s not the one, but if you’re looking for a companion to sit on the sofa next to you and keep you company, she’s perfect.
Ginger is up-to-date on her shots, treated for fleas and ticks, spayed, and ready for a home to call her own.
