🐾 🐶Help needed! Our shelter is currently at full capacity for dogs with 9 furry friends in our care. We can comfortably hold a maximum of 8 before having to resort to tiny cages. If your dog is among the strays we've taken in recently, please come by to pick them up. We urge you not to abandon your pet as we have ZERO room to spare. If you require assistance with food, don't hesitate to reach out. For those able to foster, please get in touch with one of our rescue partners. And for those considering adoption, this is the perfect time to open your heart and home to a rescue dog. Just remember, these dogs may have both behavioral and medical challenges, so adoption should be a commitment for life, not just for the good times.

Although rawhide chews come in lots of fun shapes and sizes, your dog can easily chew off and swallow large pieces, leading to a potential choking hazard or intestinal obstruction. What’s even worse is how rawhide is created: rawhides are a by-product of the leather industry and are often washed and sterilized with a variety of (often harmful) chemicals, such as sodium sulfide, lime, chromium salts, bleach, and hydrogen peroxide. It is then molded and dyed to form what you see in pet stores today.
Please avoid them at all cost, no matter how pretty they market them! ☠️

A lot of coughing dogs happening. Marley has a "mild cough" (vet appt - where I saw more than 1 with same coughing ailment). Not enough for meds but just like us, he has a cold. I may have given it to him :(
