Our kittens are fully vet checked, healthy, happy, socialized, raised under foot and with other cats I am located in St. I truly hope you understand this.
My name is Carla Davison, and along with my amazing and extremely supportive husband, Bill, we run a small, in-home, 100% cageless purebred Persian "closed" cattery. I have been running our cattery since the beginning of 2016, and have had quite a few litters since then, with very happy, well-adjusted, cuddly, loving, and above all, healthy kittens. Thomas, ON (near London, about half way between
Windsor and Toronto). Kittens will NOT be ready to leave their mothers until they are a minimum of 12 weeks old. It is extremely important and very beneficial to the demeanour of the kittens to stay with their mother until then, in order to learn everything they need to from mom and the other adult Persians in our home, to make them the BEST pet kitten & cat possible for their new human family.
***THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE:***
I will not separate any of my kittens from their mother earlier than 12 weeks old, so please don't ask me to! I currently do not ship (via airlines) my kittens, (due to Covid and flight restrictions). However, I can deliver your new kitten directly to you, and depending on your location, if you are in SW Ontario, or possibly up towards the Kingston area, I can deliver to as well, depending on timing and weather (as we make a couple trips per year up to the Kingston area). What do I mean by "closed cattery", you ask? In short, although I would LOVE for you to come to our home to see the babies in their loving & nurturing environment, I cannot risk a couple of things:
1) Since my babies are not vaccinated until they are 8 weeks old, they have absolutely NO immunity to any illnesses/diseases that ANY person may unknowingly bring in with them, *especially* if they have another pet that may go outdoors (ie. dogs)...This is also including me and my family! We as a family are always extremely diligent on making sure that no illness or disease from outside our house gets inside to our unprotected babies/kittens. We sanitize every time before we touch the babies. I simply cannot risk my baby kittens' health or lives, by them getting sick from something outside of their home environment.
2) There have been too many nightmares happening with breeders over the past few years, where their homes have been broken into and kittens & puppies have been stolen once certain people find out the address. If you are interested in a kitten, I can and absolutely will keep you updated with photos, and/or videos, and their demeanours/personalities. FYI - I have homed literally all of my kittens, without any of their new human parents meeting them in my home, or choosing them beforehand, aside from looking at photos and me knowing what kind of home life they would be in. I have numerous (all of them) very happy kitten parents that have told me that I personally made the perfect choices for them (the new owners), just by analyzing the kitten's personality and the new owner's home (whether it be a busy household, or a calm one). All my kittens are purebred Persians, and I am currently in the process of having them all registered hopefully this year. All my kittens come with a 1-year health guarantee against any congenital (hereditary) health issues/illnesses contract. They will also have, before going to their new homes, the following:
- Up to date on their shots;
- Eating either wet (canned) and/or dry food;
- Microchipped;
- Dewormed a minimum of 4 times;
- Vet check health certificate with kitten's medical records from my Veterinarian who sees the babies as least twice (normally 3 times) before going to their new homes;
- Fully litter trained;
- Fully scratch post trained (I start training them at 5 weeks old);
- Flea treatment with Revolution;
- PLENTY of hugs, cuddles, my undying love & attention, and will be very well socialized with people;
- All of my kittens come with a lifetime supply of support by me. I will always be there to answer any of your questions or concerns, etc. for the entire life of your new furbaby. Your new kitten will also go to their new home with a kitten starter kit from me which includes a tote/carry bag with a free bag of the food they are currently on, an kitten information book, a coupon booklet from Royal Canin for free canned food and 2x $10 off a bag of dry food (what I feed them from the day they start eating), a blanket with their siblings' and mom's scent on it to make for an easier transition to their new home, a couple of toys that they enjoy playing with (a mouse, feather toy, etc). They have already been introduced to all of our other cats, including their amazing and loving dad. They all get along amazingly. What is a "cageless cattery"? Not a single one of my kittens have ever seen the inside of a cage, as I fully believe that one of the most important things I can give them is free run, "under foot" of our house/cattery, so they can get used to/learn how a normal day to day household is. I do not believe in caging cats or kittens. Every single kitten that is born in my home has been handled by me, literally by the second they are born. I am up with my mommas through the entire night, playing midwife, holding the babies from the moment they start being birthed (I protect them from falling should mom stand up or go to sit down). Wow, I can't believe that our little furbabies are 12 weeks old today and are ready to go to their new furrever homes with their brand new loving families!
Where has the time gone?? It's crazy to think that just 3 months ago today, they were born and were so strong from day one! Even the tiniest little guy at the time, Mikey, who only weighed a mere 62 grams at birth, didn't let anything get in his way from becoming the best little guy that he is today! In comparison to his siblings that were twice his weight, he has shown us all that the little guy doesn't always stay little or come in last!
They have already seen the vet and they all have a clean bill of health, and had their first set of shots. It's so awesome that everyone at the Vet Clinic just fell in love with them! 😻😺
Our babies always come pre-loved with tons of cuddles, they are oozing with confidence, and they are soooo funny, and love playing with us. You will fall in love with them all!!!

I know that there have been quite a few people that have been hit pretty hard with the pandemic and are finding it difficult to live financially, so that is why I am reaching out to tell you that you can still have your dream Persian kitten! I have always accepted reasonable payment plans, as I know not everyone has that kind of money to put down all at once.

Hi there, everyone!
Wow! This weekend feels like it just flew by in the blind of an eye, eh?
I hope everyone has been keeping safe and healthy!
I'm sure you all can hardly wait to get the world back to a form of normalcy (whatever your normal is, anyways)!
Well, since it's Sunday evening, I'd like to end the week(end) off by sharing with you, a bunch of recent pics of the kittens that I'm raising to get ready to go to their new families!
It's so crazy to think back, and look at them now...I can't believe they are over 8 weeks old already, and a few of them are already over 2lbs!!! Then, in another month, they'll be going to go to their new furrever homes, with their new furrever families!

They are literally the cuddliest 8 week old kittens I haveever raised! Seriously! Most of them are always too deep into kitten play mode, but not this litter! Of course, they play alot, and they will run around and jump over each other like crazy kangaroos, but after playtime is over, they come right to me to snuggle with on the couch, or they will fall asleep on/beside my feet! LOL

Sophia's babies turned 6 weeks old (yesterday)!!!
To "celebrate", they all had their first bath and had a little photo shoot done after they were all cleaned up, fluffed up & blow dried! 😺🥰😻 They all did exceptionally well with their baths and was pretty good with the blow dryer as well, so that bodes well for future baths they may need! 😺
Since they are 6 weeks old, I am now accepting reservations on the 5 kittens shown below! If you are interested in any of them, please DM me (or if you have my number, feel free to text me). I will reply back to you as soon as I get a chance.
Also, I will be posting more photos as I get them edited, with "before & after" pics of when they were teeny weeny babies and the comparison to now!

Well, it looks like I need to apologize to you all again...I haven't been online to keep everyone posted on the babies, so for that, I am deeply sorry!!! Life, along with the babies has been quite busy and I haven't really had any time to myself over the past couple of weeks....I apologize.
Please stay tuned, because Sophia's 6 babies are 4 weeks old today, and I will be taking some updated pics of them soon (after I feed and clean them, in less than an hour) to share with you all!

Happy Sunday!
I hope you are all doing well! ☺
First, I must apologize for not posting anything since Sophia went into labour, over 2 weeks ago. There's been a lot going on here at home, family stuff, the kittens, and I just haven't had the mindset or time to get onto Facebook to post sooner. I am truly sorry!
With that said, do you want an update on Sophia and her 6 babies? Of course you do!😉 lol
Well, so far, everyone is doing really well! But as I expected, I do have to help Sophia with supplemental feedings, because she simply doesn't produce quite enough milk to satisfy all 6 babies at all times.
It's something I'm very happy to do, just so I can make sure that ALL the babies are thriving & getting full bellies, because most of the time, there's always "that one kitten" where they are just not as big or strong as their siblings, and ultimately, the smaller one always gets pushed off of momma by the stronger siblings when it comes to finding the perfect nursing post (ni**le lol). So that's where I come in and I make sure the smaller or weaker one(s) get fully fed.
Actually, I really enjoy syringe/bottle feeding the babies, because that's how they start to bond with me! The bond I make with them starts the very moment they are born, and continues on, right up until they leave me for their new forever homes at min.12 weeks old.
I consider myself very fortunate to be able to watch them grow & change, every single day. It is something that I don't take lightly, or for granted, because I most certainly don't do this for me, but rather this is ALL for you guys!
I want nothing more than to share my immense love of Persians with you! I want to give you the opportunity to love and adore the most beautiful, and loving breed (imho) in the world!

Well, Sophia did it!! She delivered 6 (six) happy and healthy babies earlier this evening!
She is resting/sleeping and caring for her babies now. Wow! 6 little ones that will be running around like crazies in no time!
I am so grateful having Sophia be our new Queen, as our original Queen has voluntarily retired herself (Zeta).
Well, its after 12:30am now. It's been one heck of a night, and I am absolutely exhausted, so now I will just do 1 last check-in with Sophia and I will be heading to bed for the night.
I just hope and pray that Sophia doesn't keep me awake all night!
I will make sure to keep everyone posted tomorrow on how our brand new little family is making out!

Sophia's 64th Day of Gestation today....
And we are now in the early stages of labour, everyone!!!

Happy Monday, everyone!!!
Well, today is "Day 62" of Sophia's pregnancy, and no babies yet, however she has been acting more and more like she is getting ready, and is actively "nesting" in some strange places, so she is now in her nursery (aka our bedroom lol) where I have a baby video monitor watching & listening to her every move. She is in a peaceful, dark, quiet room now, without any sort of distractions and she can just concentrate on her resting and then, when the time is just right, have her babies, with me by her side, in case she needs any help at all!
So, here is Sophia (a few photos below), a couple of days ago, just "chilling out" on my bed, (and in the playpen, the day I set it up), where she will ultimately have her babies.
I can hardly wait to meet and introduce the babies to everyone!!! But if the babies need to "bake" a little longer, I am totally okay with that, as long as she and the babies are happy and healthy! That's all that matters to me! 😺🐈❤😻

Well, everyone, I have some very exciting news!!!
Our momma, Sophia, is going to have more babies....in about a WEEK!!! )
We are so excited, and God willing, all of her babies will be healthy and full of life!
We can never know what may happen or what we will get from one litter to the next, so yesterday, I took her to the vet to get an x-ray done to see how many she is expecting, because I don't like NOT knowing for sure. I do it (get x-rays) with every pregnancy. The sole and only reason is for the health of my momma cats. This way if she only delivers 4, then I know for a fact that she still has at least 1 more baby to go, but if labour stops, then I know I need to get her to the vet for a c-section asap!
In any event...
I have a couple of questions for you all....
1) Do you all want to know how many baby kittens that Sophia is carrying right now? OR
2) We could do something new and do a poll?
Basically, would you all like to guess how many she is going to have, or do you just want me to tell you what the vet found?
I will take and post a picture of Sophia a little later today so you can see her in her full blown pregnancy.
I'm heading outside to plant some veggies in the garden, now that we are out of the woods from frost overnight, so I will be back on a little later to find out what you all think/want to do regarding the babies (you all guessing how many, or me telling you what the x-ray shows).
