🌟 Exciting Announcement for Our Upcoming Event! 🌟

For those curious about what to expect, here’s the plan:

Join us for a fun-filled day from 9 AM to 9 PM with a first-come, first-served format — no appointments necessary! Just arrive, and we’ve got you covered. Our dedicated shelter staff will be on-site to triage and ensure everything runs smoothly, just like at our previous microchip clinics where we excelled at keeping things organized!

Here’s how it works:

1) Check-in: When you arrive, simply fill out the necessary paperwork.
**Bring valid photo ID, you must be 18+ to get tattooed at this event**

2) Select Your Stencil: Choose your design carefully! Please note, all stencils will be preprinted, so we won’t be able to accommodate any changes on-site.

Our ultimate goal is to get as many tattoos done as possible while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Our talented tattoo artists will be focused solely on tattooing and sanitizing. Meanwhile, our friendly shelter staff will be there to chat with you and answer any questions about our shelter and the animals in our care.

Cost: Each tattoo will be $60. Please bring exact cash as we won’t be able to make change during the event, and e-transfers cannot be accepted.

🌟 Exciting News from St. Thomas Animal Services! 🌟

Earlier this week, our dedicated shelter team members, Mike and Laura, had the incredible opportunity to participate in an educational tour at the Royal Canin pet food plant. For those who may not know, we’re proud to partner with Royal Canin to provide top-quality nutrition for our furry friends!

During their visit, Mike and Laura experienced firsthand the meticulous care and extensive research that goes into each bag of Royal Canin pet food. They learned about the premium ingredients that help keep our pets healthy and thriving.

One of the highlights was a tour of the state-of-the-art food safety lab. It's truly remarkable to see the level of quality control and innovation that drives their pet nutrition program!

To wrap up the day, they attended an enlightening lecture by Dr. Emmanuel Fontaine on caring for neonate kittens in shelters and strategies to reduce mortality rates. This crucial knowledge will significantly enhance our shelter care practices and help us provide even better support for the vulnerable little ones.

We're so grateful for this partnership and opportunities for growth! Thank you, Royal Canin, for your commitment to pet health and for supporting shelters like ours. Together, we're making a difference for pets in need!

🌟 Calling all animal lovers in our amazing community! 🌟

Our shelter has a special request – we’re on the lookout for any old radios you might have sitting around.

We use radios in our dog kennels and cat room to provide comfort and stimulation for our furry friends, especially during after-hours. Unfortunately, our radio in the cat room has broken, and we could really use a replacement to keep the vibe positive for our adorable kitties!

If you have a radio you'd be willing to donate, we would be incredibly grateful! Thank you for your support in making our shelter a happier place for our animals!

Due to her strong reactions towards other dogs, she’s looking for an experienced owner who can offer her the one-on-one attention and love she deserves. In a home without other animals, Carol is the sweetest companion full of love and affection.

Because of her reactivity, we believe Carol would do best in a home without children. She needs a compassionate owner who can provide her with the structured environment she needs to thrive.

🐾 Meet Ozzy! 🐾

This sweet boy has come a long way over the past 3 months as we've worked hard to prepare him for his forever home. When Ozzy first arrived, he was scared and emotionally broken, but with patience and love, he’s blossomed into a happy and confident German Shepherd!

Ozzy still has a bit of work to do on his manners and can be a jumper, and new men can make him a little nervous. We truly believe he’s ready to find a loving family to call his own!

Please note, we believe Ozzy may have experienced some past abuse, so a home without small children would be the safest environment for him. He’s very curious about his fellow furry friends here and often barks at the kitty cats!

If you're looking to add a loving companion to your home and are willing to continue his journey, Ozzy might just be the perfect match for you!
