Cassie's Canines is a Dog Training & Grooming company based out of St. We have 12 years experience working with dogs of all sizes and 9 years professional grooming experience. We practice science based dog training through positive reinforcement. We put the fun back into dog training and use interactive games to strengthen the relationship between you and your dog.

This means that no scissors or clippers were taken to this dog. Typically this is done to terriers, spaniels or setters but in this case its a labradoodle! Sometimes when you cross these dogs you can get a wire coated dog. Aren't genetics cool?
I LOVE when we have time for photoshoots! It helps when the subjects are very well trained agility dogs 🐾

Aura during her demo dog color day 😍 we had so much fun! Loved everyone that came for a visit.
A huge thanks to the great people at Pinafore Park St. Thomas for letting us take over half of the park on July 20th! We weren't sure what we were getting into with it being our first time at Pinafore, and we had a few bumps along the way, but overall we had a great day and fantastic event! Thank you for all your help before the event and the staff who worked through the event. We're looking forward to PAWS 2025 back at Pinafore Park!

I know many of you have been missing Scotia’s insane ability to get nails short short! She is a wizard when it comes to nails, I honestly don’t know how she gets them so short! (I’m looking forward to attempting to learn her tricks!)
Before anyone asks NO she is not back for her regular schedule, she will return in JANUARY!
Nails are $12 plus HST
Grinded/Dremeling is $15 plus HST

Holy talk about how time flies! We have officially had our store front operational for a year now. It’s crazy to look back on the photos before we began this huge renovation. When I walked into this big open space I instantly had a vision, I could feel it. This was the perfect place. A lot of hours and $$ later my amazingly talented husband turned it into a beautiful reality. I can’t believe a year has flown by in the blink of an eye.
At the beginning of 2023 it was just me, now I am happy to announce I have hired a lovely new groomer that just graduated Pet’s Beautiful School of Styling with honours! (the same Scotia & I both attended) She has been here a few days over the past month as she finished school but she officially starts full time next week. Welcome to the team Lottie! I’m so excited to watch her flourish and continue developing her skills. And guess what? She loves grooming bichons & Westies - girl after my own heart 🥰
I am tentatively planning a one year celebration on May 11th, keep a look out for more details! Hope to see lots of you there & THANK YOU for making this huge step I took possible. Our clients are the most important part of this business ❤️

The Ideal candidate we are looking for is an experienced groomer with a diploma from an accredited grooming school or canpro certification. However I am willing to consider another apprentice if I’m unable to find someone with suitable qualifications.
Pay is negotiable based on experience & skill.
All necessary equipment can/will be provided along with regular sharpening and maintenance.
Employees receive discounts on dog food & other pet supplies.
We want a focus on continuing education, building skills & qualifications to deliver the best possible services for our clients.
Hours vary, someone that has availability for Saturdays and possibly some evenings is preferred but not necessary.

I know so many of you have been asking about Scotia & her baby! He finally made his arrival over the weekend!
Welcome to the world Stirling. I think I can already see the resemblance 🥰 wishing her and her family all the best with their new bundle of joy!
We all miss Scotia but she’s busy being the best mom in the world ❤️❤️
Happy New Year! We hope everyone had lovely holidays filled with lots of relaxing!
For anyone who doesn’t know Scotia is now off on Matt leave awaiting her bundle of joy to arrive! This means Cassie and our lovely apprentice Tiffani are taking over her client list. We know we have big shoes to fill as Scotia is amazing but we are determined to do our best and make all your furry friends comfortable, happy & of course beautiful!
I believe we are caught up on scheduling but if I missed anyone please feel free to reach out. I’m also going to be encouraging everyone to prebook their appointments, ideally for the first 6 months of the year to ensure priority of our existing clients.
There will definitely be a bit of a learning curve with scheduling as we are going to be working as a team, Tiffani will be bathing and drying most dogs and I will be doing majority of haircut & finishing.
We ask for your patience during this transition and please reach out for any issues you may have. We want to continue to deliver top quality service to everyone ❤️
