Cette année encore, Mondou a tendu la patte aux refuges du Québec. 💙 Nous leur sommes profondément reconnaissants pour la généreuse subvention accordée à notre refuge dans le cadre de leur campagne Mondou Mondon pour les refuges.

Ce précieux soutien nous permettra d’offrir des soins vétérinaires essentiels, de poursuivre nos efforts de stérilisation, d’améliorer le confort de nos chiens et de nos chats, et d’encourager encore davantage l’adoption responsable.

Un immense merci à Animal Alliance Canada pour leur généreuse subvention en soutien à notre mission. 💙 Cette année, les abandons et les animaux trouvés errants sont particulièrement nombreux. Notre refuge fait tout en son possible pour accueillir, soigner et protéger les animaux en détresse — chaque geste de soutien compte plus que jamais. 🐾

Le saviez-vous ? Animal Alliance Canada (AAC), fondée en 1990, est un organisme sans but lucratif qui œuvre à la protection de tous les animaux grâce à la sensibilisation, l’action politique, le sauvetage et l’éducation. Son initiative Project Jessie est un réseau national de sauvetage pour les chiens et les chats perdus, errants ou abandonnés, gardés dans des fourrières où ils risquent d’être vendus à la recherche — la pire des trahisons de leur confiance. Le programme les sauve avant qu’ils ne soient envoyés à la recherche et réhabilite également les animaux ayant été exploités dans des laboratoires, principalement des chiens et des chats.

CE CHAT EST AU REFUGE/ THIS CAT IS AT THE SHELTER

ASLAN est un superbe garçon au ravissant pelage lustré et dense aux teintes de gris & taupe avec des taches noires et aux magnifiques yeux verts lumineux et inquisiteurs. Costaud et athlétique, avec un joli minois tout rond, notre beau gaillard a environ 2 ans et sa santé est excellente. ASLAN dégage un aura royal...Impossible de résister à ce chat exceptionnel !

ASLAN semble être un chat domestique croisé avec un Bengale mais, ayant été trouvé errant - non-stérilisé et sans micropuce -, il est difficile de le confirmer...puisque nous ne connaissons rien de son passé ni de ses origines. Étant très sociable et affectueux, le séduisant félin a certainement vécu auprès d'humains avant d'être pris en charge à la mi-octobre.

Au refuge, nous constatons que ASLAN est plutôt triste et nerveux - il communique son mal de vivre en miaulant pour attirer notre attention. Le pauvre doit être gardé dans une cage et non dans la salle commune avec les autres chats attendant leur adoption. Nous avons fait l'essai de l'intégrer au groupe mais ce fut un échec puisqu'après 24 heures, ASLAN (fraîchement stérilisé et encore très territorial) s'est mis à attaquer ses colocataires mais aussi à s'isoler, sans manger. Pour son bien-être et celui de ses congénères, ASLAN a dû être retourné en cage.

Avec les gens par contre, c'est tout le contraire ! ASLAN est un gentil minet qui a un grand besoin de compagnie et qui désire créer un lien affectif très fort avec vous. Cet élégant gentleman poilu adore être flatté, caressé et bécoté. On peut même lui flatter le bedon et il commence alors à ronronner et à vous lécher les doigts mais il peut ensuite vous mordiller la main. Ainsi, les futurs adoptants de ASLAN devront être présents et interagir souvent avec lui et idéalement lui proposer des activités et jouets interactifs pour éviter qu'il s'ennuie. Une fois que votre bien-aimé ASLAN vous connaît et vous fait confiance, vous aurez de vraies belles soirées ensemble - il sera collé sur vous et sa chaleur vous réconfortera :)

L'époustouflant ASLAN est curieux, agile et moyennement actif. Comme ASLAN aime grimper, il aura besoin d'un grand arbre à chat avec quelques plateformes afin qu'il puisse s'y amuser et observer la nature et voir ce qui se passe dehors. Il adore les lits moelleux pour faire ses siestes. Monsieur se plaira dans un environnement chaleureux et stimulant, et suffisamment spacieux pour qu'il puisse se dépenser. Comme ASLAN a connu la liberté à l'extérieur et a pu exploré à sa guise, il faudra qu'il s'habitue dorénavant à vivre exclusivement à l'intérieur donc il sera important de surveiller vos portes et fenêtres pour éviter les fuites/escapades non-désirées.

ASLAN sera plus heureux et s'épanouira pleinement dans un foyer sans jeunes enfants et préférablement comme seul animal de compagnie en raison de sa nature plutôt dominante. Ainsi, il aura toutes les caresses pour lui et règnera sur son domaine ! Possiblement qu'avec le temps, il deviendra plus tolérant des autres chats...la testostérone va graduellement diminuer, mais à court terme il faut lui offrir un environnement qui réduira au minimum son stress pour assurer son bien-être.

Le ravissant ASLAN est un être attendrissant et aimable qui a besoin de VOUS ! Si vous êtes prêt à vous investir dans une relation bienveillante et aimante avec cet irrésistible compagnon - en retour, ce merveilleux félin vous aimera de façon inconditionnelle et vous apportera beaucoup de joie :)

ASLAN is a stunning young gentleman with a sleek, dense coat in shades of grey and taupe, adorned with black markings, and luminous green eyes that sparkle with curiosity. Strong and athletic, with a round, expressive face, this handsome fellow is about 2 years old and in excellent health. ASLAN exudes a regal presence… It’s impossible not to fall for this exceptional cat !

ASLAN appears to be a domestic cat possibly a mix with a Bengal, though it’s difficult to confirm—he was found as a stray wandering, unneutered and without a microchip, so we know nothing of his past or origins. Given his very affectionate and sociable nature, it’s clear that ASLAN once lived among humans before being taken in mid-October.

At the shelter, ASLAN seems sad and anxious. He expresses his distress by meowing to get our attention. Unfortunately, he must be kept in a cage rather than in the communal room with our other adoptable cats. We tried integrating him into the group, but after just 24 hours, ASLAN—recently neutered and still quite territorial—began lashing out at his roommates and withdrew, refusing to eat. For his own well-being and that of the others, ASLAN had to be returned to his cage.

With people, however, it’s a completely different story ! ASLAN is a sweet boy who craves companionship and longs to form a deep emotional bond with you. This elegant, furry gentleman adores being petted, cuddled, and kissed. He even enjoys belly rubs, purring softly and licking your fingers—though he may playfully nibble your hand afterward. Future adopters should be present and engaged, offering ASLAN interactive toys and activities to keep him stimulated and prevent boredom. Once your beloved ASLAN knows you and trusts you, you’ll share many cozy evenings together—he’ll snuggle close and warm your heart.

This striking cat is curious, agile, and moderately active. ASLAN loves to climb, so a tall cat tree with multiple platforms will be perfect for him to play, perch, and watch the world outside. He’s also fond of plush beds for his naps. He’ll thrive in a warm, enriching environment with enough space to stretch and explore. Since ASLAN once roamed freely outdoors, he’ll need time to adjust to indoor-only living. It’s important to keep doors and windows secure to prevent any accidental escapes.

ASLAN will be happiest in a home without young children and ideally as the only pet, given his dominant nature. That way, he’ll have all the affection to himself and reign over his domain ! Over time, he may become more tolerant of other cats as his hormone levels settle, but for now, he needs a low-stress environment to support his emotional well-being.

ANGELA est une belle ch**te un peu dodue, âgée d'environ 5 ans qui est en excellente santé; elle est dégriffée aux 4 pattes. Avec son joli pelage tuxedo et ses grands yeux verts-dorés qui expriment tout son désarroi quant aux récents bouleversements dans sa vie, la charmante cocotte se cherche un ou une adoptante aimante pour la chérir et la dorloter pour toujours.

ANGELA a tristement été abandonnée début octobre et le motif invoqué a été - "pour causes d'allergies". Elle vivait comme seul animal de compagnie avec ses humains. A son arrivée, comme tous les chats qui ont vécu sans beaucoup de contacts avec différents chats ou personnes...elle était désemparée et confuse...mais aussi très choquée et insultée de se retrouver en cage.

La pauvre ANGELA était tétanisée de peur et restait recroquevillée tout au fond de sa cage sans bouger et mangeait presque plus :( Comme Madame réagit en voyant ou en sentant d'autres chats, nous ne pouvons pas la placer dans la salle commune. Ainsi, actuellement, ANGELA est malheureusement confinée à sa cage. Cela fait pitié de la voir aussi triste et nous espérons qu'ANGELA puisse être adoptée rapidement et se retrouver dans un environnement calme lui permettant de reprendre goût à la vie.

Quand elle vous connaît et se sent en confiance, ANGELA accepte avec grand plaisir les caresses et les bisous; elle se tortille dans son panier et ronronne en faisant des petits mouvements de pétrissage tellement elle est contente d'avoir de l'attention. La damoiselle adore se faire brosser...et dans sa nouvelle famille, elle aura besoin d'une séance régulière car son pelage est un peu négligé en ce moment. Ch**te d'intérieur discrète et sensible, elle n'est pas vocale. Elle aime les succulentes gâteries et c'est un excellent moyen d'établir un contact positif avec elle.

ANGELA est très affectueuse et chaleureuse et elle aime se coller sur nous; on lui donne des bécots sur le front et elle pousse de son côté pour demander qu'on continue de la cajoler. On constate que ANGELA est fortement dérangée par des jappements de chiens et/ou la présence des autres chats près d'elle (même en cage) et peut grogner de peur - ainsi, il est difficile de la prendre dans nos bras ou la laisser circuler dans la pièce. Nous croyons qu'une fois sortie du refuge, sa vraie nature - agréable et douce - pourra enfin s'exprimer !

Ainsi, ANGELA pourra retrouver le bonheur et la paix d'esprit une fois qu'elle sera dans un foyer accueillant et tranquille. Traumatisée par son récent abandon, nous cherchons des adoptants patients et compréhensifs qui sauront rassurer et donner beaucoup d'amour à cette perle de ch**te. Compte tenu de son vécu et de son tempérament sensible, nous recommandons un foyer sans autres animaux. ANGELA n'a jamais habité avec des enfants, alors idéalement son prochain environnement sera aussi sans enfants ou sinon, avec des grands enfants (plus de 12 ans) qui sont très respectueux des animaux car trop d'activités autour d'elle nuiraient à son bien-être et à son intégration.

Vous cherchez une compagne facile à vivre, sympathique et loyale ? L'attachante ANGELA a bien hâte d'avoir une vie paisible à vos côtés...si vous lui en donner la chance. Elle vous sera tellement reconnaissante en retour.

ANGELA is a lovely tuxedo cat with a slightly plump figure and striking green-gold eyes that reflect the confusion and sadness she’s felt following the recent upheaval in her life. About 5 years old and in excellent health, ANGELA has been declawed on all four paws. This sweet girl is looking for a kind-hearted adopter who will cherish her and offer her the comfort she longs for.

ANGELA was sadly surrendered in early October and the reason give was “allergies.” She had lived as the only pet in her previous home. Like many cats who haven’t had much contact with different cats or people, ANGELA arrived at the shelter feeling lost and bewildered—and deeply offended to find herself in a cage.

Terrified, ANGELA curled up at the back of her enclosure, barely moving and eating very little. Because she reacts strongly to the sight and scent of other cats, she cannot be placed in the communal room. For now, she remains confined to her cage, and it’s heartbreaking to see her so sad. We truly hope ANGELA will be adopted soon and find peace in a quiet home where she can begin to enjoy life again.

Once she feels safe and begins to trust you, ANGELA welcomes your caresses and kisses with delight. She wriggles happily in her basket, purring and kneading with joy when she receives attention. She absolutely loves being brushed, and her future family should plan for regular grooming sessions—her coat is currently a little neglected. ANGELA is a discreet and sensitive indoor cat who doesn’t vocalize much. She’s fond of tasty treats, which are a great way to build a positive connection with her.

ANGELA is very warm and loving, and she enjoys snuggling close. She leans into forehead kisses and nudges you gently to ask for more cuddles. She’s visibly distressed by barking dogs and the presence of other cats nearby—even through the bars of her cage—and may growl out of fear. Because of this, it’s difficult to hold her or to let her roam freely in the room. We believe that once ANGELA leaves the shelter, her true personality—kind and affectionate—will finally shine through.

ANGELA will flourish in a calm, welcoming home. Still shaken by her abandonment, she needs patient and understanding adopters who will reassure and offer plenty of love to this wonderful kitty. Given her sensitive nature and past experience, we recommend a home without other animals. ANGELA has never lived with children, so ideally her next environment will be child-free—or possibly shared with older kids (12+) who are respectful and gentle with animals. Too much activity around her could hinder her adjustment and well-being.

Looking for a loyal, sympathetic & easygoing companion? Endearing ANGELA is eager to begin a peaceful new chapter by your side—if you’re willing to give her that chance. She’ll be deeply grateful in return.

OLIVE et ODIN sont deux adorables chatons qui vous enchanteront à coup sûr !
La fillette possède un superbe pelage écaille de tortue bien coloré et le garçon un élégant pelage noir/fumée. Ces petites peluches ont de jolis yeux dorés aux regards remplis de douceur et de tendresse. Ces délicieux bambins vous combleront de bonheur tellement ils sont attendrissants et charmants !

OLIVE, ODIN, OZZY, OSCAR & OPHÉLIE sont nés à l'extérieur autour du 12 juin 2025. Une généreuse dame a emmené les 5 chatons ainsi que leur parents OTHELLO et LILY au refuge en septembre 2025 afin qu'ils puissent tous être stérilisés... pour contribuer à briser le cycle incontrôlé de la reproduction des chats errants. LILY la maman, est actuellement en famille d'accueil et sera bientôt disponible pour adoption. Le papa et les 3 autres chatons sont tous adoptés :)

OLIVE & ODIN sont en excellente santé, ont bon appétit et utilisent la litière de façon diligente. A leur arrivée en famille d'accueil, les bouts de choux se sont rapidement adaptés à la vie intérieure et familiale...et ont exploré leur nouvel environnement avec émerveillement...tout était nouveau et tout les épatait :) Ils sont moyennement actifs et dans leur nouvelle demeure, apprécieront pouvoir grimper et jouer dans un bel arbre à chats placé près d'une fenêtre ou d'une porte-patio.

OLIVE & ODIN sont tous deux curieux, confiants et enjoués; ils s'amusent avec leurs jouets et se tiraillent amicalement....une fois épuisés, les petits font la sieste collés ensemble, dans un petit lit douillet et moelleux pour faire de beaux rêves. A vrai dire, OLIVE & ODIN font presque tout ensemble: jouer, manger, dormir, se toiletter mutuellement...on l'un va, l'autre n'est jamais loin. Leur lien fraternel étant aussi puissant - ils doivent vivre ensemble pour assurer leur bien-être et leur épanouissement. Quand on les sépare, même pour une courte période, ODIN surtout, semble triste, s'inquiète et cherche sa soeur partout.

OLIVE et ODIN sont 2 aimables petits pots de colle; ils adorent se faire flatter, caresser et bécoter; on peut les manipuler très aisément - ils s'endorment même dans vos bras. Les charmants chéris sont très affectueux et ils s'attachent rapidement à leurs humains. Ils se mettront à ronronne tout bas quand vous les cajoler. OLIVE aime particulièrement se coller sur vous; ODIN est un peu plus indépendant que sa soeur, mais est néanmoins un chaton super amical et gentil.

OLIVE et ODIN seront heureux dans un foyer accueillant et chaleureux avec des adoptants attentionnés, bienveillants et disponibles. Compte tenu de leur tempérament aussi agréable, ils peuvent cohabiter avec des grands enfants respectueux des animaux. Les précieux trésors étaient à l'aise en présence des autres chats avant d'aller en famille d'accueil donc, si vous avez un autre jeune félin à la maison, avec des introductions graduelles, les jeunots devraient être ravis d'avoir un nouvel ami pour jouer avec. De plus, comme OLIVE et ODIN sont jeunes et plutôt braves, ils pourraient s'adapter dans une maisonnée avec un chien, habitué à vivre avec les chats.

Nous souhaitons vivement une adoption double pour OLIVE & ODIN car ces petits angelots sont vraiment fusionnels ! Ce merveilleux couple félin a très hâte d'avoir une famille qui les chérira pour toujours et vous aurez la chance de les voir grandir et être à vos côtés pour plusieurs années.

❣️OLIVE ❣️ #10517 & ❣️ODIN❣️ # 10514 - DOUBLE ADOPTION

OLIVE & ODIN are two adorable kittens who are sure to steal your heart!
The little girl has a beautifully vibrant tortoiseshell coat, while ODIN sports a sleek smokey black fur that gives him a distinguished look. These fluffy darlings have golden eyes filled with warmth and sweetness. Their affectionate nature and irresistible charm will bring you endless joy.

OLIVE, ODIN, OZZY, OSCAR & OPHÉLIE were born outdoors around June 12, 2025. In September, a kind-hearted woman brought all five kittens—along with their parents, OTHELLO and LILY—to the shelter so they could be sterilized, helping to break the cycle of uncontrolled reproduction among stray cats. LILY the mama is currently in foster care and will soon be available for adoption. The father and the three other kittens have already found loving homes :)

OLIVE & ODIN are in excellent health, have hearty appetites, and use the litter box reliably. Upon arriving in foster care, these little ones quickly adapted to their new indoor/family life, exploring their new surroundings with wide-eyed wonder—everything was new and fascinating to them ! They’re moderately active and would love to have a cozy cat tree near a window or patio door in their future home, where they can climb and play.

Both OLIVE & ODIN are curious, confident, and full of playful energy. They enjoy tumbling around with their toys and engaging in friendly wrestling matches. When they’re tuckered out, they curl up together in a soft, snuggly bed to dream sweet dreams. In truth, OLIVE & ODIN do almost everything together —playing, eating, napping, grooming each other… where one goes, the other is never far behind. Their sibling bond is so strong that they must be adopted together to ensure their happiness and emotional well-being. When separated, even briefly, ODIN in particular becomes anxious and searches for his sister.

These two affectionate cuddlebugs love being petted, kissed, and held. They’re easy to handle and will even fall asleep in your arms. OLIVE & ODIN form strong attachments to their humans and will reward your affection with soft purrs and loving gestures. OLIVE especially enjoys snuggling close, while ODIN—though slightly more independent—is still a wonderfully friendly and sweet-natured kitten.

OLIVE & ODIN will thrive in a warm, welcoming home with kind, attentive adopters who have time to devote to their care and companionship. Thanks to their lovely temperaments, they could live happily with older children who understand how to treat animals with respect. Before arriving in foster care, they were comfortable around other cats. Should you already have a young cat, with gradual introductions, they’d likely enjoy having a new friend to play with. And because OLIVE & ODIN are young and quite brave, they could adapt to a household with a cat-savvy dog.

CE CHAT EST AU REFUGE/THIS CAT IS AT THE SHELTER

Si vous êtes attirés par les jolies ch**tes aux incroyables yeux verts expressifs, au magnifique pelage bigarré (un mélange de tabby et calico) et possédant une personnalité tendre et attachante, alors MARTINE saura vous plaire à coup sûr. Cette gentille féline au regard triste et inquiet, aux belles pattes blanches et au irrésistible nez rose & noir, est âgée d'environ 3 ans et est en excellente santé.

La ravissante damoiselle a été emmené au refuge à la mi-août 2025. La raison invoquée pour cet abandon nous a vraiment attristé - les gens ont indiqué qu'ils n'en voulaient plus :( Comme si MARTINE était une "chose" et qu'on pouvait tout simplement s'en débarrasser...

À son arrivée, MARTINE était très apeurée en cage et détournait les yeux pour éviter un contact visuel; on tentait d'interagir avec elle mais la pauvre était extrêmement stressée et nerveuse. Malgré nos efforts, elle ne réagissait pas à nos marques d'affection. Une fois mise en salle avec une vingtaine de ses congénères, MARTINE est restée cachée une bonne semaine...sous les meubles ou dans les caissons des arbres à chats, se faisant extrêmement discrète.

Mais voilà qu'il y a environ 2 semaines, il y a eu tout un revirement de situation...la mignonne a eu un déclic...et a commencé à se promener partout joyeusement côtoyant ses colocataires sans crainte et démontrant une nature enjouée alors qu'elle s'amusait avec sa b***e et ses petites souris de peluche. MARTINE a découvert des endroits près des fenêtres pour observer les oiseaux et écureuils et la coquine est totalement captivée par ce spectacle.

De surcroît, MARTINE s'est mise à venir à notre rencontre lors de la distribution des friandises et nous avons commencé à bâtir un lien de confiance avec elle, une bouchée à la fois. MARTINE nous a enfin dévoilé sa vraie nature: une ch**te aimable et affectueuse lorsqu'elle se sent en sécurité malgré qu'elle peut sembler un peu farouche ou timide aux premiers abords. Son premier réflexe est de fuir...mais avec quelques paroles rassurantes et une approche en douceur, la jolie princesse accepte et adore les caresses et aime poser sa tête dans votre main et se frotter langoureusement sur vous. MARTINE aime vous lécher les doigts pour vous remercier de l'attention que vous lui portez et ronronne tout bas. Cette magnifique compagne est une vraie perle !

Ch**te strictement d'intérieur, la charmante MARTINE sera aux anges dans un environnement serein et chaleureux. Madame n'apprécie pas du tout les bruits forts et les gestes abruptes autour d'elle; trop de stress pourrait donc nuire à son bien-être. Elle aura aussi besoin d'interactions et de marques d'affection régulières afin de s'épanouir et on doit la manipuler avec délicatesse et respect. La coquette boule d'amour convient mieux à un foyer avec adultes et adolescents; nous ne recommandons pas une maisonnée avec des jeunes enfants ou des chiens. Toutefois, MARTINE pourra partager son espace avec un autre chat amical et non-dominant. Dans sa nouvelle demeure, soyez patients et indulgents avec MARTINE et prévoyez une période d'intégration; une fois à l'aise, cette beauté poilue vous récompensera en vous comblant d'amour inconditionnel.

If you’re drawn to beautiful cats with mesmerizing green eyes, a stunning mottled coat (a unique blend of tabby and calico), and a tender, endearing personality, MARTINE is sure to steal your heart. This sweet feline—with her worried, soulful gaze, dainty white paws, and irresistibly cute pink-and-black nose—is about 3 years old and in excellent health.

MARTINE arrived at the shelter in mid-August 2025. The reason given for her surrender left us deeply saddened: her former guardians simply said they didn’t want her anymore. As if MARTINE were just an object to be discarded :( …

When she first came in, MARTINE was terrified in her cage. She avoided eye contact and turned her head away whenever we tried to connect. Despite our attempts to comfort her, she remained tense and withdrawn. Once placed in a room with about twenty other cats, MARTINE kept to herself for a full week—hiding under furniture or tucked away in cat tree cubbies, barely making a sound.

But then, about two weeks ago, something shifted and the sweetheart had a breakthrough. She began exploring the room with curiosity, mingling with her feline roommates without fear, and showing a playful side as she chased her ball and batted at her plush mice. MARTINE found cozy spots near the windows where she could watch birds and squirrels, utterly captivated by the lively outdoor scenes.

Soon after, MARTINE started approaching us during treat time, and we began building trust and a bond—one nibble at a time. She gradually revealed her true nature: a loving and affectionate companion who blossoms once she feels safe. While MARTINE may seem shy or reserved at first, her instinct is to retreat—but with kind reassuring words and a gentle approach, this lovely princess welcomes caresses. She enjoys resting her head in your hand, brushing against you fetchingly, and even licking your fingers as a quiet thank-you. Her purrs are soft, but her gratitude is immense. MARTINE is truly a hidden gem.

Strictly an indoor cat, MARTINE will thrive in a peaceful, cozy home. She’s sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements, so a calm environment is essential to her well-being. She also needs regular interaction and shows of affection to truly flourish. MARTINE must be handled with care and respect. She would do best in a household with adults or teens; we don’t recommend a home with young children or dogs. However, MARTINE could happily cohabitate with a friendly, non-dominant cat. In her future home, patience and kindness will be key. Give MARTINE time to settle in, and once she feels secure, this furry beauty will shower you with unconditional love.
