This is not a happy post but unfortunately since march we lost 3 beautiful souls! Coquin, Kiki and today Zeus!

You have been all wonderful companions and I am very glad I got the chance to meet you all and spend some nice time with you! Life is not always fair for our beloved fur babies and I know how much we get attached to them!

I am sending all of your family’s some love and I hope they have a peaceful and joyful time in the doggies paradise! 💕
You will forever be remembered! 💕

Hi everyone!

I just realized I kept a huge secret from you all!
We got so busy and didn’t realized how fast things went but…

It’s been 3 weeks that we welcomed our son William!

Our little guy decided to come wayyyyy earlier then expected at 35,2 weeks!
He was born on the 2nd of april at 6 pounds 2 Oz and 48 cm!
He is a healthy little guy and is the most lovable chilled and easy going baby already!

We spent a week at the hospital because he had a bit of jaundiced and low glucose at birth as well as a little tong tie that is now all fix and gone!

We are happier then ever to be new parents and we can’t express how much love we have for this little guy already!!

You might have a new little dog walker with me when I will get back at it (probably not before next spring 2024!😅🥰

For now we will enjoy every little second of him growing up wayyyy too fast already!!

Officially 34 weeks pregnant and already on my maternity leave! I will take quite a long time off work and I don’t plan on being back anytime soon.
I will update you next year when I get back to work!
Until then I want to thank you all for being such amazing customers/ friends/ support!
I am forever grateful that I got to take care of all your cute pups for 2 years! It was an amazing time and I am so glad I started this little business!
I feel like in some ways taking care of your pups prepared us to be better parents!
Now it’s almost time for us to welcome our baby boy and to give him our full attention!

Its getting to that time of year where the brightly coloured, festive looking dog treats appear on the shelves.
We again issue the warning we give every year and beg you to avoid them for the safety of your dogs..........
With Christmas fast approaching and lots of new puppy owners we thought we would share this again, we know most of you know they are bad but often people who don’t own dogs will buy your dog/puppy a present for Christmas and these look fun.... they are NOT!
If you get any put them in the garbage! DO NOT give them to your dogs or puppy’s
PLEASE LEAVE THEM IN THE SHOPS
The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China.
Their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell.
Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes.
They regularly cause intestinal blockages and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.
Please be safe with your dogs!

Comme vous le savez je suis enceinte maintenant de plus de 4 mois et comme l’hiver semble vouloir s’installer déjà, j’ai pris la décision de cesser mon service de promenade. À partir du 15 décembre, je me concentrerai seulement sur le gardiennage de chiens.
J’afficherai ici mes disponibilités du mois.

Je serai très sélective malheureusement vu ma grossesse.
Je prendrai seulement les PETITS chiens.
Pas de chien réactifs ou hyperactifs qui requiert beaucoup d’exercice. Pour les nouveaux clients je vous poserez quelques petites questions et je vous rencontrerai vous et pitou en personne avant tout. 🤗

J’accepterai seulement 1 chien à la fois ou plusieurs d’une même famille ou qui se connaissent bien déjà.

Je ferai environ deux fin de semaines par mois et ce sur demande.
Voici mes journées disponibles en semaine pour le mois de décembre.

1-2 décembre week-end du 3-4 sur demande
5-6 décembre week-end du 10-11 sur demande.
12-13-14-15-16 décembre week-end du 17-18 sur demande.

Like you already know, I am now more then 4 months pregnant.
Seing the winter seems to want to settle early this year, I took the decision to stop walking services and will concentrate on pup sitting from the 15th of December.

I will put here my availabilities of the month.

I will only be sitting SMALL dogs.
I will unfortunately have to be picky for new customers for my criteria seing I’m pregnant.
I won’t take any reactive or hyperactive dogs that requires tons of exercises.
I will ask you few questions and meet you and the pups before any booking. 🤗

I will only take one dog at the time or many dogs from the same family or that already know each other well.

I will do approximately 2 weekends per month and on requests.

Here’s my availability for the month of December:

1,2 December, weekend of 3,4 on demand.
5,6 December, weekend of 10-11 on demand.

Hi everyone!

It has been a long time since I posted here and unfortunately things have been quite the roller coaster in our life’s recently!

As all of my regular customers know, I am now pregnant from 14 weeks and half and we are having a baby boy!! This news was the best thing that could happen in our life’s!

But unfortunately things went messy lately…
I had health conditions that made me slow down or completely stop working.

Me and the baby are safe and we just need some rest.

As for the futur of my little business…

It is a little bit early on to take major decisions…
But one thing became a bit more clear…

I will unfortunately completely stop walks from when winter will settle in (that could depends on many factors that I cannot predict just yet like snow and ice on the ground or very low temperatures).

I will focus mainly on my current customers and not take on new ones until my health gets better.

I will probably only do some sitting arrangement in my home for small dogs only that are house broken. **** NO big dogs, jumpy dogs or very high energy dogs that requires a lot of exercise******

I will sometimes open up some weekends and I will keep you posted on my availability schedule.

I am sorry if this sounds very precise and strict… But I do wish to continue working for as long as I can (baby due the first week of may and will probably stop taking bookings in march).

I love what I do and I love all of your pups but now my focus is on the baby and I!

I hope you will all understand 🤗

I also wish to thank you all again for all of your support and best wishes and comprehension and love! I am truly lucky to have you all and you are again the best customers that I could of wish for!

My little pup, Snoopy, is getting better everyday and he’s always cuddled up with me or taking care of my mom. He is a strong one!
My mom is still up and down but I am now back home in Aylmer.

Hi everyone!
Me, my mom and Snoopy are saying a big THANK YOU to all of you for your understanding!
Snoopy is getting a little bit better. He’s eating and taking his medication and he’s cuddling and napping next to me! (He got operated for a blockage because he ate rocks!)
I’ve never seen him so vulnerable when I got him from the vet He wouldn’t stop giving me hugs and cuddling me and was looking at me in the eyes for minutes! He was just glad to finally leave!

My mom is hopping to get an operation today for her kidney stones! She’s extremely grateful that I was able to be there for them.

I will keep you all updated as soon as I have more details! Thanks again to all of you!
Life throw us some big challenges sometimes but we will get through it!

Foxy is looking for new Home!!

As hard as it is for his family, it is the best decision, so Foxy can get what he needs.

About foxy:

- 1 year & 4 months old male
- Husky
- fixed
- up to date on vaccinations

Foxy is very energetic and sweet dog currently living with 3 kids, his mom is expecting 4th baby, 1 dog and 3 cats. He is great with all of them BUT he would do a lot better in a family that can give him a full attention and active lifestyle. He is experiencing separation anxiety, but this does not show when he stays with someone else ( in their home ), so it is most likely about the environment where he currently lives. His family loves him so much, but his mom is unable to give him the attention, training and active life style he needs. He will definitely talk to you, as huskies do, he has tendency to jump when greeting and will pull you on leash if you let him ( his mom is not able to walk him, but me, as his trainer, it wasn’t as bad. Definitely needs stronger hand, consistency and training).

He will do best in a house with well fenced yard, with family that has experience with dogs and are willing to give him the training, attention and walks he needs, preferably without kids and other animals.

There is a re-homing fee!

Bonjour à tous!

Comme mentionné précédemment, je vais changer mon horaire à mon retour de vacance le 17 octobre!

Je vais malheureusement perdre mon petit temps plein, Hermit, qui déménage sur la rive-nord de Montréal au mois de Novembre.

Je ne suis pas encore à la recherche de nouveaux clients, par contre je vais à mon retour prendre quelques petits nouveaux.

Ce que je recherche ce sont des gens qui retourneront au bureau et qui auront besoin que je viennes visiter leurs chiens (30-45mins) le temps de leur absence. (Petite marche si la température le permet, sortir les chiens pour qu’ils fassent leurs besoins, jouer, nourrir…)
Je ne prendrai pas de clients qui recherchent quelqu’un pour des marches seulement, car avec mon expérience de l’hiver dernier il faisait toujours trop froid et j’ai déjà mon maximum de marches pour la saison d’Hiver.

C’est visites seront parfaites pour les gens qui ont des chiots ou des chiens de tout âge qui doivent sortir durant l’absence des parents pour faire leurs besoin et jouer.

Si vous pensez avoir besoin d’une personne comme moi vers la fin octobre, veuillez me contacter!
Je n’aurai que quelques places disponibles et les endroits que je ferai seront près de: McConnell, Fraser et la Marina seulement.

Hi everyone!

As I mentioned previously, I will be changing my schedule from when I return from my holidays. (17th of October).

I will unfortunately lose my full time, Hermit, from November.

I am not currently taking new customers yet, but I will be looking for new furry friends when I return.

What I will be looking for is people that are returning to the office and will need me to go visit their dogs when they are away (between 30-45 mins, small walk when the temperature allows it , feeding, potty break, play time.)
I won’t be taking any actual walks as from my last winter experience, it was always too cold and I already have enough walks for my winter season.

Those visits are perfect for people with puppy’s or any dogs that requires to go out while the parents are away for potty breaks and play time.

If you think you will be needing someone like me from the end of October, please contact me as I will only take few pups and will select people near: MCConnell, Fraser and the Marina.

Bonjour tout le monde! Je suis de retour!

Je vous donne un petit update!

Pour le mois d’Août, Septembre et Octobre, je continue avec mon horaire actuel (du lundi au vendredi seulement.
Je ne prendrai toujours pas de nouveaux clients qui ont besoin de services longs termes (en continuité) car je serai en vacance du 1er au 16 octobre et je ferai une restructuration de mon horaire à mon retour.

Aussi, (pour mes clients en daycare), Je ne pourrai pas avoir de petits amis poilus chez moi du 22 au 30 septembre car j’ai de la famille en visite.

Pour les gens qui ne sont présentement pas clients, Si vous avez besoin d’aide temporaire (marches et visites de 1 h ou 30 mins chez vous) en semaine seulement (du lundi au vendredi) laissez-moi savoir je pourrai peut-être vous aider tout dépendant de mon horaire du moment!

Today I wanted to share something with you!

You must remember these two cuties from 2 months ago! Parker and Luna!
Last time Luna was perfect but Parker the big baby was a bit challenging at times!
(Pulling, nipping, jumping, biting my pouch of treats, not always cooperating!)
It got Better as the week passes and got to know them better!
Now today after not seing them for nearly two months, I decided to apply some tricks I learned and I didn’t have my pouch I just store treats and p**p bag in my biker shorts pockets instead… as I found out it was my biggest ennemie last time. And without it it stoped the biting and jumping.

Obviously Parker is 2 months older now and the parents have been clearly trying tricks on him and are doing well!!

But here’s what I tried:

-Rewarding him when he was good and ignoring his misbehaviours. (Saying with my little voice good boy and if it didn’t catch his attention I gave him a treat).
-I stoped when he pulled and said slow when he was going too fast.
-I told him to leave it when he got something in is mouth and give him a treat instead… and the walk went almost perfect!

All of this to say (sorry for my novel) THANK YOU TO -Anik Landry your online course which I am about halfway through gave me huge insights! I already knew most of these tricks but just the rewarding good behaviour and ignoring the bad ones was a big thing for me… I didn’t tried enough before but it makes total sense!🤗
I’m very happy I made new friends who does dog training and are giving very good insight for people like me and you!
Big shout out to Passion Éducanine (Marie-Anik) for her online course on reactivity who will be soon available in English!
Also follow Mission Pawssible by Kamila who is now focusing more on online interactive training!
Training is not an easy thing but don’t give up as it works and it is very rewarding and necessary for you, your dog and the security of others and with patience and consistency you will get there!

Aujourd’hui, j’ai envie de partager quelque chose avec vous!
Vous allez sûrement vous souvenir des adorables golden retrievers que j’ai promené il y a de ça presque deux mois.
Parker et Luna.
Luna c’est la petite parfaite mais Parker avait été un peu plus un challenge pour moi la dernière fois. (Il mordait, me sautait dessus, tirait, mordait ma pochette qui contient mes gâteries et n’écoutait pas toujours).
Les marches allaient de mieux en mieux au cours de la semaine et j’ai appris à mieux les connaître.

Bien sûr qu’aujourd’hui il a presque deux mois de plus et ses parents on clairement essayé des trucs avec lui et font bien leur travail!
Mais voici ce que j’ai essayé aujourd’hui:

-Je n’ai pas mis de pochette (j’ai mis des traites et sacs directement dans mes poches de shorts. Car la dernière fois j’ai réalisé que ma pochette était l’une de mes plus grandes enemies! 😅
-J’ai travaillé sur l’entrainement positive qui est de récompenser les bonnes actions et ignorer les mauvaises.
-Je lui disais avec ma petite voix, Good boy lorsqu’il se comportait bien et si cela ne captais pas assez son attention je lui donnais une gâterie.
-J’arrêtais lorsqu’il tirait et je lui disais slow lorsqu’il allait trop vite.
Lorsqu’il trouvait quelque chose par terre je lui disais leave it et lui donnais une gâterie lorsqu’il n’écoutait pas pour qu’ il laisse tomber ce qu’il avait dans la bouche!

La marche s’est super bien passée et ce sans aucune frustration!
Tout cela pour dire un gros Merci à Marie-Anik je suis très reconnaissante d’avoir commencé son cours sur la réactivité de Passion Éducanine qui m’a aidé énormément avec la pratique du training positif. Je savais majoritairement les petits trucs mais ce qui semble faire une grosse différence c’est de souligner les comportements positifs chose que je ne faisais pas assez!

Pour ceux qui parlent anglais il y a aussi Mission Pawssible from Kamila qui focus aussi sur le training en ligne interactif et positif.

Bref ne vous découragez pas car le training est peut-être pas toujours facile mais avec de la patience et de la constance on y arrive et c’est très gratifiant et nécessaire pour vous, vos chiens et la sécurité des autres!

Yesterday I met with amazing ladies that are also offering pet services in Aylmer and le plateau. I thought I would share with you their page and expertise seing I am currently not available for new pups it would give you direct references from me!🥰

1- Mission Pawssible by Kamila dog walker/trainer with about 4 more spots available during week days. Occasionally weekends.
She speak English and Slovak.

2- Time For Walkies Tina is a dog walker/ sitter she does walks before 7:30 or after 4pm as she work full time from home. She is also a dog sitter and is flexible for weekends. She speaks English and French.

3- http://www.tantelori.com tante Lori offers visits to your place for any kind of pets on any days of the week. She speaks English mainly with a little of basic French.

4- Passion Éducanine Marie-Anik est une éducatrice certifiée offrant des cours en ligne à bas prix ainsi que des sessions privées en personne. Elle commence à être très occupée la belle Marie-Anik car elle travail aussi temps plein!
