Well that’s a wrap. We are now officially closed for vacation. We are closed from Thursday July 25 at 6 pm
Until August 22 at 9 am. We will not be responding to texts , emails , online messages , calls or voicemail until we reopen. We will be by the ocean trying to relax and unplug ! Well it has been very busy here the last two weeks with grooming and nail trims and sitting dogs and walking our boys. So much fun with all these cuties. Thanks everyone who continues to support my business and trust me with your fur babies. Love my job every day. The best part is working with all these cute dogs and cats. Enjoy the photos !

It has been a very busy couple of weeks here with grooming and nail trims. We have also done quite a few taxi services for grooming. Also did an in home check in for a very special dog and kitty I know. Also have been doing a lot of dog sitting. We have had Rose, Patron and Bo stay over the last couple weeks. Keeping us busy for sure. Everyone is good and doing great. We had lots of fun in the Bronco for drives too and spending time on the porch and the back deck when it was sitting time. Some real cuties over the past couple weeks. It has been busy busy. Thank you all for trusting me with your fur babies. Always love to spend time with them whether it’s for grooming, Sitting, Nail trims or in home check ins. It’s always great to spend time with these cuties.

What a bunch of cuties getting ready for the Canada day celebrations of this past weekend. Lots of fun. A bunch of full grooms and nail trims too and a little bit of dog sitting too. Ben stayed for a little bit with us while his owners were on the way to come
Get him and Rose is here for a few nights with us now. She is enjoying her stay. In between grooming other dogs I was able to groom my own dogs Fergie and Rusty and my kitty midnight. Also we were able to enjoy some relaxation time on the porch and a beach day and some off leash fun in some
Of their favorite spots. They even went to the drive in with us one night. Good boys for sure. All the dogs who came for grooming and the kitties too are all good boys and girls and look at them all spruced up and looking good. Also the nail trims only were good as well. Inukshuk dog food order is in. Anyone need dog food. 26/16 chicken and Marine 16 - salmon ! Locally made professional dog food. Message or call if you need or want some. Now have easy pick up option set up. There is a bin at the end of the driveway with a combination lock on it. Just let me know when you think your coming and your bag will be put in there for you and I will give you the combination. Just be sure to lock the box back up when your done please. Also etransfer can be made for payment or we also have a cash box just inside the gate. Cash box is the red box mounted on the fence just as you come in the gate. Email for etransfer is on the sign above the cash box too. 🙂 thank you all for your business !

It has been a very busy couple weeks. So many cuties in for grooming and nail trims. Also Minnie was here for boarding for 5 nights and she also got a groom. Wow her coat is thick. All good dogs and cats. Love this job. Thank you everyone who trusts me to groom your fur babies and or board them while your away. Also we do taxi services to and from your grooming appointment if needed. Clients like this service. You too busy to bring your pet for their spa day ? Ask about our taxi service. Thank you for my clients understanding. Closed for maintenance today. Issues with the grooming tub ! Three trips to the hardware store we have the issue solved and hopefully for good. Had my dad come help me and we got it draining better than it ever did and fixed the hose issue too. Hopefully this will solve the issue. Everyone will be rescheduled either for this week or next. Thanks for your patience. See you all tomorrow. A new day with better hoses and drainage on the tub.

This little guy passed over the rainbow bridge tonight. I groomed him about a month ago and been grooming him for quite sometime now. Such a sweet little guy. I really enjoyed when it was his groom day and looked forward to seeing him. His last grooming I knew it may be his last so I gave him extra snuggles and pets that day , more than usual. Will miss you so much. I’m so sad Shadow. You were loved by anyone who knew you. Your the best little guy. Your owner once said he was not sure I was gonna give you back to him because I loved you so much little dude. Go run in the fields at peace. Your not hurting now buddy. Was so happy to have known you and I cried so much when I found out you were gone. You will never be forgotten. This is the hardest part of this job is when we lose them due to old age or illness. He was 14 and had a great life. RIP Shadow.

While we were on vacation we got some much needed work done around here. We are trying to get things ready for warm weather. Did you know when you bring your dog for grooming that your welcome to wait and use our front porch to lounge or read a book or whatever. Also the bench on the side step where you come in is free to use. Just ask us if you want to sit on the porch and we will open the gate to the porch. We also did a full deep clean in the grooming shop, pressure washed the garage. Organized the grooming shop. Put up new curtains in the bathing area and also a curtain around the grooming table for those really fury ones to cut down on hair blowing everywhere. Gave the grooming table a paint job to refresh it. Also we were able to get the gardens done too. Things are looking nice out front. Enjoy the chairs by the lighthouse garden too if you wish. Only thing we ask is to respect the property and no smoking on the front porch. Smoking is permitted on the side step bench and there is a but stop there. We also improved the garbage can for doggy waste as it can get smelly in the summer. It is a diaper genie and so far it works good. Just hit the foot pedal and pop the bag in. Please enjoy our spaces as we do. We also updated our big sign with a fresh coat of paint and put white behind it to make it pop. We hope you all like it. Enjoy your day.

After being very very busy since our last break to recharge in February , it is time to rest this mind , body and soul again to recharge the batteries so i can continue this job for many more years. Purrfect Paws N Tails Pet Grooming is closed from today May 9 th at 2 pm to Tuesday May 21 st at 9 am. Messages , texts , calls and voicemails will be responded to on or after May 21 st. Thank you for your patience during this rest period. With that being said if you need any Inukshuk dog food during this time you may still contact us for that and pick up can be arranged for you even if we are not here. It has been a very busy couple weeks with lots of grooming and also some nail trims. A few taxi pick up and drop off for groomings. Lots of dog sitting. Boots has been here three times since March and Sully has been here twice and he is now here again for about ten days. Lots of fun with those dogs and dogs for grooming as well as enjoying time with my own dogs. Busy busy but just the way it is supposed to be. Check out this bunch of cuties.

Sully and Boots were here for a stay this weekend with their friends. Sully just went home and Boots goes tomorrow but they are both back in a week or two again for a longer stay. They are good boys. Weather was not great for walks so we went for a drive and hung out at the house this weekend. Hopefully their next stay will have better weather. Little Boots goes home tomorrow. Fun with extra dogs sitting this weekend.

It has been a busy couple weeks since returning from winter break. We were sitting little Boots for 13 days and he was a bit under the weather so we got him into the vet quickly. With a round of antibiotics he was feeling much better before he went home. Then he got a grooming while he was here too and we went out on some outings. Also there were a lot of fur babies , dogs and cats for nail trims and groomings. Keeping us super busy. On top of that keeping our own dogs excercised and happy. Took them to Pawsio swimming on Friday and this was their second visit their and they both got Pro level swim
Badges. So Awsome. They are doing amazing at that. We took them to Sussex yesterday and they had fun sniffing about. Prepping to get ready for another busy week or two here. Happy st Patrick’s day everyone. One of the kitties I had here got upset with me when doing his nails and bit me but I’m ok. He didn’t get me bad. He is still a good boy. You may see his photo in here. He is a special kitty and we love him. So many special dogs and cats we get to see on a day to day basis. Love my job. Thanks so much for all your business. Purrfect Paws N Tails Pet Grooming and sitting is closed for a winter break to rest and recharge our batteries. Closed from February 17 th until March 3 rd. Reopening March 4 th at 9 am. Thank you for your patience during this rest period. We can still accept requests for dog food during this time if you need food for your dog. It can be picked up at the side entrance and etransfer or cash can be method of payment. We will ensure the dog food is available for you even if we are not here or open. For grooming or sitting requests for dog boarding please respect the rest period and limit messages until we are open. Well it has been a very busy couple weeks getting the pups and kitties all set for Valentine’s Day. Also sitting Little Bean and his sister Hope for 8 days. Had some adventures and cuddle time with them. Plus taking my boys out and a bout too. Getting lots of full grooms done on kitties and dogs. Also some nail trims. Hope and Bean went home yesterday and we are going to miss them but we will see them again in
The future. Lots of love for love day from this groomer. A lot of work getting these babies all cleaned up and looked after. So much fun.
