That’s a wrap !
Spintastic 2024 has come to a finish and while it was insanely hot our crew survived and did very well !!

🥇Whitney and Smart Blu Starlite won the open/Rein Box … the cowhorse classes looked a bit different for me after my wreck but I was grateful to be able to make it happen. We also won the TRR intermediate open reining class .

🥈LT Smart Hickory Cat owned by Tracey Foster- Duriez and Whitney finished 4th in the Open/Rein Box and were Reserve Champions in the Reining Futurity winning his first earnings . Chip came to me 8 months behind in this career direction but he has risen to every challenge and given me his all every step of the way ! What a pleasure it has been so far

🥇Patricia Watson and Smart Peppy Jane won the Non Pro Boxing class winning their very first buckle ever and was Reserve in the Box Drive class and Never Won a buckle class! They had a killer weekend 😎

✨Danielle Blades and Imagn If U Wer Smart attended their first show together. They had a great weekend learning all the fun of showing a 3 year old and were a fantastic team together .

💫Brian Blades and Docs Smart Blu Penny also stepped into the show pen for their first time together. When you’re riding such a cool horse it’s always a good time !

🚀Carla Chandler and Df Clash of Whiskey made leaps and bounds at their first show. From the first class they had to their last class was HUGE improvement . They are enjoyably to watch and look great together

Big thank you to the whole Spintastic team for putting on such a great show . There’s so much work that goes on behind the scenes! And another BIG thank out to all my clients and friends who stepped up and helped me even if I was determined to not need help .

And I can’t forget to thank Kyle and his friends for doing such a great job in the back keeping the cattle operation running smoothly for the cowhorse classes Friday night as well as keeping the rest of the gang at home fed and happy .

First horse - Will be used all around but client would like to dabble in cutting but doesn’t necessarily to need be trained for it .
Sane minded is a must and doesn’t need fancy buttons.
Budget high 4-low 5 figures.

Second horse- will be used as a kids horse , age isn’t a huge factor . Something ideally that can sit for a couple weeks without needing a lunge.
Sound at the walk / trot and lope is must .

We got the chance to be apart of something a little different last winter . My past assistant Els and her sister Taylen were doing up an ad for Cowgirl Coffee and spent the day at the Barn. I think we all froze and horses were feeling themselves but once seeing it all come together it was worth it 🤩
