We've been a bit quiet here lately, while we spend time settling into our new home and enjoying the great outdoor space we have, before winter sets in. Rest assured the corgis and I are doing well! They are living a life of luxury with daily off leash walks, playing with horses across the fence, and sleeping on comfortable beds. As you can see from her professional side eye, Etta is so impressed 😂😂

EXCITING NEWS -- WE HAVE MOVED!!! 💕🎉☀️

Due to some big life changes for me this year, we may have been hard to keep track of location-wise. But I am SO happy to report that the corgis and I have found our dream property in beautiful Pritchard, BC! We are now located permanently 35 min east of Kamloops, on a beautiful 80-acre ranchland plateau with such spectacular, panoramic views that the photos don't have a chance of giving it the justice it deserves. I am thrilled with this piece of paradise and can't wait to develop it into our perfect "corgi ranch".

Thank you to everyone who has given their continued support during this year full of unexpected twists and turns. We've been "making it work" by all meanings of the term, and it means the world to me that I was able to continue this journey. I wouldn't be where I am without you all!

HUGE shoutout to and Chris for helping move all the furniture around this weekend - you guys are the best and hold a piece of my heart, always.

Etta graduated her puppy class last week! 💕🦊☀️

Puppy class is such an important tool for all puppies, and their families. I've been told by puppy families that puppy class was a huge turning point for them, as it not only helped them teach basic obedience, but it also gave them valuable skills in understanding their puppy's behaviour, and finding ways to get their puppy to want to work with them. I have always recommended puppy class, and after hearing several success stories, I encourage all new puppy owners to attend!

Sheikah is unfortunately not pregnant. The stud shipment from the US was unfortunately quite iffy by the time we received it - nobody's fault but the dang hot weather's! While we were hopeful it would be a successful breeding, this just wasn't our season. We do, however, plan to have puppies from Sheikah in the (hopefully near) future, and I have faith it will happen when she's good and ready!

The good news is that we will be pairing Luna with Barrett from on her next cycle, for a repeat breeding! The pups from their last match were so beautiful inside and out, and I can't wait to see what they deliver this time around 😍 if all goes well these pups will be ready to go home to their new families in early 2025!

This life of breeding is sometimes challenging, but I am optimistic about the upcoming months! We have other exciting news coming up this fall that will be announced soon 💕🦊☀️

Copied this from another breeder's page, and it rings so true for me, and many other breeders that work so hard to improve their breed, and produce puppies with good structure and balanced temperaments, that will be welcomed into homes as loving family members. Good breeders have a vision that not everyone can see, and it is a (sometimes hard) lifestyle that not all understand. But it is definitely my dream ☀️💕🙏 🦊

THE DREAM MANY WILL NOT UNDERSTAND:
My dogs are a personal dream.
One day when I'm very very old and can't walk anymore, this will be in my heart, the trophy of my memories.
Whenever I'm with my dogs, I live, I'm happy, I just think how wonderful they are.
I stopped explaining myself to those who don’t understand and learned to communicate with others who have the same mindset.
I'm meeting some amazing people that I now call friends all over the world thanks to my dogs.
I've spent money I didn't have and gave up a lot of things but all that is not worth even a special moment with my dogs.
They are not just a pet or something I own, they are the missing part of my soul and spirit, they are a part of me.
And when someone tells me "it's just a dog"... Nodding and smiling.
A dog..... only the person who loves him understands.
Wish my friends and all their dogs good karma..
And so the adventure continues . .

Zora enjoyed a day out for some individual time today! We visited and both located in Tappen BC. She was (as usual) adored and admired by all. She loves the attention! (and, we'll admit, is a natural advertiser for our program - it's no coincidence the program is named after her!). Zora is my heart dog, and I love to spend the occasional day simply enjoying her company 💕🦊☀️

Jazzy showing her littles how real food is done! 🍖💕 Today marks 3 weeks old for these three pups, and the first offering of kibble mush to start the weaning process! Their teeth are starting to come in, making it the perfect time to start transitioning. We start offering mush once daily, and slowly start to offer it more frequently over the course of several weeks. Updated individual photos will be coming this weekend!
