Thanks to Special Occasions Duncan for providing us with a tent to keep us dry throughout spurts of rain!

Embe Bakery prepared two amazing cakes for us that were so delicious!!

Thank you to Jenn and her dedicated team from the Cats of Salt Spring Island Rescue Society for bringing their cats and kittens available for adoption! They were all so cute and we hope they find amazing homes ~ special shout out to birthday boy, Giovanni.

All in all the day was a huge success and we were so happy to share it with everyone! See you next year and thank you for all your support for our little pet store on Salt Spring Island!

New Hours, New Space and New Products at Whiskers Pet Store!

We are expanding our hours to 9:30 - 5:30 Monday to Saturday and 10 - 4 on Sundays to better help you meet your pet needs locally.

Come see our new expanded store! Whiskers has expanded by over 60% into the space previously held by Dan and Jacqueline who owned Salt Spring Physio - we wish them well on their new adventures in their retirement. As such we are able to expand our product offerings to include Open Farm RAWMIX, SMACK, Hills/Science Diet Specialty (Veterinarian Recommended) cat and dog products, Royal Canin, First Mate, and many more options in the treat, toys and accessories departments.

We look forward to showing you our expanded store and please let our knowledgeable staff know of any suggestions you might have to better serve you and your furry/fluffy friends. We will try our best to bring in what you need at competitive prices, if we can, with online and off island shopping.

Remember that the second Wednesday of every month is our Local Customer Appreciation Day with 10% OFF all store items!

Christmas Cheer from Whiskers Pet Store

As the holidays approach, Joan, I (Brian)and the Whiskers Team would like to share the spirit of Christmas with pets and their parents who need a little support this holiday. We will be offering a 4 or 5 lb bag of Canadian Naturals to those on the Island whose pets might benefit from a full belly at Christmas.
