Our last welcome of 2024 goes to SONNY and IRIS! 🥰🐾
I'm so excited to welcome in two adorable beagles with the best personalities. They're from the same mum and dad but different litters, Sonny is a little over 3, and Iris just turned 1. Sonny being the older bro is definitely the more chill, relaxed of the pair. Iris is all puppy energy, and it's adorable watching her figure out pack life.
For beagles with a strong need to sniff, I'm amazed at how well they're walking in the group already and able to engage with me no problem.
Today, they tucked themselves behind me and trotted like they've been pack walking for ages, only getting pulled away by the best smells on the edges of the sidewalk. They're both just little sweethearts who love a good adventure.
I'm so looking forward to seeing these two meet new friends and learn more from the pack, they are so smart I'm sure one day the new kids will have a lot to learn from them too. Welcome babies, we are so happy you're here! ❤️

Time for your pupdate, Miss Blue!! 🥰🐾
As soon as she entered the pack, I knew we were going to have a blast together. Blue is super smart and somewhat sensitive. She is very in tune with her humans, and I can see she wants and loves to do a good job. The way she looks at me when she's done as I asked is my fave. Those blue eyes get me every time.
One of Blue's quirks is she loves the SpongeBob Squarepants theme tune, I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't witness it myself. As soon as she hears the song starting up, she's howling and singing along 😂 she's really quite vocal day to day, but nothing beats her singing!
You're a joy to have in the pack girly, I love your s***k and Husky sass, and wouldn't want you any other way. Thanks for being you! ❤️

Say hello to HARLEY!! 🥰🐾
This 6 year old Aussie boy is such a sweetheart, I knew as soon as I met him he was a gentle soul. He comes from a family who is very invested in exercising him and giving him the best life, and the product is a very obedient and calm boy. He easily just trots beside me already, and we've only had two walks together! So lucky.
Harley is the perfect amount of inquisitive and submissive, he would prefer a quiet life and doesn't want to ruffle any feathers. The way he has greeted his new friends so far has been lovely, all gentle sniffs and tail wags. He didn't even complain on our super rainy walk last week!
I'm really looking forward to getting to know this good boy more and going on more fun adventures, stoked you're here sweet boy! ❤️

This week we welcomed in a new, tiny pack member. Welcome to the crew, KOBE!! 🥰🐾
Yes, he is named after the legend Kobe Bryant. He may not be as tall as he was, but he's just as awesome. This fella is sweet as pie. He loves people and other pups, but he does take a bit of time to warm up to new human friends. I was super happy to see him hop into the car with Jetta and Romeo after being a bit scared of me initially. Once he realized he was meeting lots of nice dogs and going for a fun walk, he relaxed and realized I'm not so bad.
Watching Jetta act as a safe space and role model to the little guy was so special for me. She responded to him right away, and he trotted beside her for the whole walk. They were instant buddies!
I can't wait to watch Kobe progress with me and the pack, gain lots of confidence, and have a ton of fun! I'm so happy you're here with us, buddy. we're gonna be bff's, I promise! ❤️

It may be rainy today, but nothing ever gets this gal down. Time for your pupdate EVEE!! 🥰🐾
Evee joined the pack during a time of great sadness. We were mouring the loss of a very special pack member who she never had the joy of meeting. It was almost like she knew we needed cheering up and bounded into pack life guns blazing! This gal is strong wiled, and I've been watching her benefit from a firm but fair approach in the pack. She LOVES to have a job, especially if that means she is told she is a good girl, followed by some beef liver after a job well done. She is learning that slow is cool, even though she may be bursting with energy.
Evee makes friends with every dog she meets. She's yet to meet a pup she doesn't like, and vice versa. Even the littles tolerate her feisty and happy greetings.
Thank you, Evee, for bringing a bunch of sunshine into our lives and keeping us on our toes. We love ya girly!

Maria and I walked dogs together today and enjoyed every moment. We are so grateful we get to do this to make a living. Life would have looked very different for us if it wasn't for the brave men, women and animals who fought for our freedom.

My Grandad flew Lancaster Bombers in WW2 for the Royal Canadian Air Force. My Dad served 45 years in the British Army, 12 of those as part of the Special Air Service. He's the only one from his unit still alive today, he just turned 79 years old.

If you ever go over to Manitoulin Island and check out the Old Mill Heritage Centre, you will find their uniforms displayed next to each other, the incredible stories of their bravery and of how they eventually met.

Our darling Snoop has been pack walking for quite some time now. We're well overdue his pupdate! 🥰🐾
This boy is probably one of the kindest dogs I've ever met. He's gentle with us and his friends and definitely never means any harm. Him and Jetta have had nothing but chill and happy experiences. This is pretty rare for her. She never felt anything but love for this boy. He has a special energy and some adorable quirks that we just love. For example, when we come to pick him up, he will slowly slink into the couch or under the couch, roll over, and wag his tail. We have to lift his head to pop his collar on. We are obsessed!! Once the leash is on, it's go time!
He's a joy to have in the pack and has been learning not to pull and instead chill beside us and have a nice, relaxed walk. He's always ready for a picture, especially with his famous side eye that makes us laugh every walk! I am so grateful to have such a good boy to walk with us so often, we love you, Snoopy boy. Thanks for being an angel! ❤️

Yesterday, we welcomed in two new sweeties to the pack, say hello to LLEWYN, and MAEVE!! 🥰🐾
Lew and I share a birthday, although he just turned 1 year old. He's a puppy boy but very smart and willing to learn. I absolutely love his personality already! Him and Boxer Alfie were big fans of each other on their first outing. It's amazing to watch the older dogs enjoy the youthful energy!
Maeve is turning 3 soon and is a little more reserved than her bro, at least for now! It was so encouraging to see her loosen up as the walk progressed and get more comfortable with us all. She is an absolute sweetheart, a kind soul, and a gentle walker.
I'm super excited for more walks with these good dogs, to watch them meet more friends and go on all the adventures! Welcome to the pack, kiddos. I hope you love it here. We are so lucky to walk with you both. ❤️

The last few days have flown by, November is here and the countdown to 2025 is on. The pack is starting to feel so solid, Maria and I have gotten into a good groove walking dogs together, and I'm super excited to welcome some new pups in next week. I also have a lot of meet and greets scheduled for this month, so excited to meet some new pups and see how they will fit into the pack. Happy November! ❤️🐾

I'd like to brag about my buddy Stanley for a bit. He's been walking solo with me for quite some time now, time for his pupdate! 🥰🐾
Stanley walks with me once a week, but he also trains with Rustic Paws and goes for play dates at Pynies Paws, the luckiest boy!
For my walks with him we pretty much get out and about to expose Stanley to the sights, sounds and smells of the big outside world. Poor guy was raised during covid, and although his parents work very hard with him training and walking him themselves, the lack of social time was really hard on the boy. He can be reactive towards people and other dogs, which was making getting him out almost impossible.
During my time with him I've witnessed him go from wind up explosive towards his triggers to being able to sit and observe other dogs walk by at a small distance. We're not perfect, but to see him able to manage like this is really amazing. We've formed a close bond, and I can feel the mutual respect blossoming all the time between us.
Good job, Stanley, for working so hard and being so brave! We definitely love you a lot. ❤️

We welcomed this sweetheart into the pack today, please join me in welcoming LUCKY to the Bat Pack! 🥰🐾
Lucky is an almost 9 year old Lab/Rotti mix, so of course I'm obsessed with her already. She absolutely loves her walks, sniffing and other pup friends. Watching her meet the crew today was seriously amazing, she let me know who she was cool with right away, and who she needed a bit more time to get to know. By mid-walk she was completely comfortable and was inviting a bit of play with even the high energy Huskies, made me so happy!
Lucky is such a good girl on leash, she is just happy to get out and about and have a good time with some nice friends. She kept looking up at me with the biggest smile, and I could tell her new pals were big fans of hers already.
Welcome, Lucky girl, I'm so excited to get to know you more and share more adventures with you. We're so lucky to have you! ❤️

Happy Thursday!! 🥰🐾
We've had a short week, and it's flying by as usual. I can't believe Thanksgiving is this coming Monday, hopefully you all get to enjoy some time off with your family and pooches. We'll be taking the holiday Monday off, and will be back at it on Tuesday the 15th.

Walks have been going so well this week, friendships are blossoming and the new dogs are warming up to me fast. I'm looking forward to walks with Maria and the gang tomorrow before the long weekend, let's go! ❤️

It's been a whirlwind of a week, we've been crazy busy behind the scenes and I haven't had much time to post. So here's our week in pictures!
We've welcomed back old friends and had a lot of human company too. The dogs have been loving it. With all the excitement that's been going on, the pack has been managing so well, I'm excited to see what fall has in store for us.

In other news, I reached 600 followers not that long ago on Facebook. That's pretty crazy for a little pack walking company in Sarnia. Thanks so much for following and continuing to follow us and the dogs!! It means so much to us, and I'm grateful you're not tired of my ramblings yet. 😂

We have two new pack members to introduce you to, please welcome Sophie and Pearl!! 🥰🐾
I'm so curious if anyone can guess their personalities from their pictures alone.
They're both total sweethearts, and already friends with Jetta as they also go to Pynies Paws for play time!
Both girls are young, but hard at work with mum already, going through training with Rustic Paws and getting their long walks in too. There's a lot of energy to burn here, but I was pleasantly surprised at how chill they could be on their first walk last week. The pack took to them right away, and helped them settle in and feel comfortable. Pearl especially was a little shy at first, but warmed up quickly. Whereas Sophie had no trouble telling her new friends off when needed 😂 all in an effort to make sure they were respecting little sister of course.
Both gals are awesome on leash, with Sophie being a bit "spicier" when it comes to seeing dogs and other fast moving things. I'm super excited you're here to walk with us girls, your energy is so appreciated and I can't wait for our next adventure!

Yesterday, we welcomed this pretty girl into the pack. Welcome to the team, MADIGAN! 🥰🐾
Madi is Rue's doppelganger, so alike in looks, but very different personality wise. She has joined the pack to take part in adventures with fellow doggies as a way of gaining confidence in the big wide world.
She wants to make some buddies and enjoy nice, long walks as part of a pack. Some things are just better with friends!
Madi comes from an experienced household of raising dogs, so she has all her manners down pat. She is wonderful on leash and showed epic obedience on just her first walk. A super sweet and gentle girl, I can't wait to watch her open up around me and her friends and see that true personality shine.
Thank you for trusting me Madigan, I am super glad you're here, and from how our walk went yesterday, I think the pack is too! Welcome to pack life!
