Our residents need you !

We have so many amazing dogs looking for homes and so many more waiting for a room at our shelter. We cannot save more unless adoptions pick up.

Come for a visit this Sunday, July 2nd and wander the beautiful grounds at Dog Tales from 12-4pm.

You can watch dogs romp around in playgroup all afternoon, walk through our kennels between 12-2 and meet and greet with many cute faces. We hope you lock eyes with that special one that becomes the new member of your family 💗

I sing in both (But sing more in School for Love). They're two great pieces. Influence is funny and wild and full of social media references and School is such a sweet story with powerhouse singers belting out songs by Taylor Swift, Lizzo, Frank Sinatra, Britney spears and musical theatre artists! We are so excited to welcome people back to Dog Tales, both inside and out. We are now open from 12pm -4pm (kennel viewing 12pm-2pm only). This Sunday is an extra special Tea Time Theme 🫖

You can have some fun with our four photoshoot setups while also getting to meet our residents. Please don’t bring your own dogs as it can be stressful on the animals that are here. Plus, we want you to find the new member of your family!

As Fear Free Professionals we know that the outdoors can bring great joy to pets and their owners, but it's important to be aware of the risks involved. Protecting pets from Lyme disease is not just a matter of prevention, but also of balance.

While we, as well as our clients, may be reluctant to add another injection to a dog’s prevention program, new information about Lyme disease’s risks, transmission, and prevalence provides a compelling reason to reconsider. This Lyme Disease Prevention Month, let's spread awareness on the risks and help clients take action to protect their pets from this common disease.

the ONLY reason i have this charmed life is because of all the WARRiORS out there fighting for at-risk of euthanasia cats like i once was. and you know how many people it took to save just one smush? countless. from the good samaritan who turned me in, to the lady who called up and told her about the hot mess orange kitten who was not eating - to all the people who fed me while my original foster mom was in her last year of vet school - to who i was with for 4 MONTHS and bit her and ring-wormed her all up and the vets and vet students and techs and just alllllllllll of the people who helped out before i found my forever home here. the reason we had smush foundation before was to help rescues and animal welfare orgs fight for animals using social media... like we do. and will keep doing as we have the opportunity and time. be kind to one another. and remember, if you're a person involved in rescue with a social media account - check your ego at the door. yes, i said it. LOVE YOU!!!
