One spot left in Advanced Obedience starting November 16th at 5:45pm!
In this video, Owner Megan and Trainer Tracy are demonstrating just some of the end goal exercises you will be doing in our Advanced Obedience course.
Honestly, we think Advanced is the most fun! It is where you get to see where all your hard work has paid off, as we blend all the individual behaviours we've taught and worked on in Novice and Intermediate together to show you how smart your dog really is!
Who is going to snag that last spot? 👀
❗️ Training tip ❗️
Add a stasher bag to your treat pouch! Why?

Happy Monday!
Trainer Karleigh wanted to share some proper exposure and socialization training with you today that she does with her reactive dog, Millie.
Karleigh writes, “The most important part of exposure training is keeping the experiences positive and rewarding often.
Let’s not forget that dogs learn through classical and operant conditioning. But what does that even mean?
Classical conditioning (aka respondent conditioning) is the processes where learning occurs through repeated stimulus pairing. It’s essentially learning through associations (reinforcement and punishment)
Operant conditioning (conscious conditioning if you will) are behaviours that are learned through consequences (punishment and reinforment).
Now that we understand those definitions we can see the importance of them. Classical conditioning is always happening. When doing exposure we need to be aware of the associations made during that session (and always). That is why I’m always opting for rewarding with some yummy treats (positive association)."
A glimpse into one of our Intermediate Obedience classes that graduated yesterday 😍 What an amazing group! We are so lucky to have such dedicated owners in our classes!
