💛 We Need Your Help, Friends 💛
This year has been one of the busiest—and hardest—we’ve ever faced. Spring and summer brought an overwhelming number of cats and kittens through our doors, and just when we thought things might slow down, fall delivered another wave of little ones needing care.
In the past couple of months alone, we’ve:
🐾 Taken many cats to the vet for urgent and ongoing medical needs
🐾 Covered a huge number of spays and neuters to prevent even more suffering
🐾 Battled a heartbreaking upper respiratory infection in a litter of kittens—one little one didn’t make it, but the others pulled through after multiple vet visits
🐾 Provided treatment for cats needing medications, and made the painful decision to say goodbye to injured and terminally ill cats who could not be saved
🐾 Supported foster homes dealing with flea outbreaks that were costly to fully clear
🐾 Driven cats out of town for appointments because local vet spots were unavailable when we needed them most
We don't like reaching out for help like this, especially at a time of year when everyone is stretched thin…
But today we received a vet bill we simply cannot cover—not even on our rescue’s credit card.
