🙏**URGENT APPEAL FOR FUNDS**🙏
Our accounts are officially empty and our Visa card charged up. We are desperately in need of funds. Are you able to help?
We currently have Calvin in need of amputation surgery for his hind leg. We had hoped, as the vet suggested, that he could manage with his deformity, but as he's grown and is putting more weight on the leg, it's clear that it's causing him pain. We've been quoted $3,500-$5,000.
We have Sunny in need of surgery soon to repair her hernia. She has hip problems that need to be further investigated too. We've been quoted $2,000.
Mika and Winnie have to go back to the vet for more investigation. Winnie's leg wound has reopened and needs care, as well as possible xrays, and Mika's skin condition isn't improving with medication. This will likely be in the vicinity of $600-$1,000, possible more.
We are steadily working on fixing all the kittens we took in this spring/summer and have several left to do. We expect this to cost about $2500, and are taking in another litter of 5 soon, which will up this amount.
We also had to purchase a new supply of Revolution for $1,800.
Daily we are asked to take on kittens, abandoned cats, surrenders. People bring us injured cats, neonatal kittens, sick cats. We are struggling to keep up financially, and also with having the energy and time the rescues require.
