We are sad to say that Olivia is still needing a quiet place to go. She needs a home with no other pets. She needs a long adjustment period so patience, love and patience as she adjusts to all that will be new to her.

Public Plea

The shelter is no place for any senior, let alone a senior who is blind

Olivia ‘s owner passed away. And now she is with us, confused. Even though she has been through so much. And can only go off her sense of smell. She is the absolute best hugger, she clings to us for comfort, kind words, and also trust that we will do the very best for her.

If you are her person, please don’t hesitate to call or stop in, and love Olivia as much as we do.

She is 13 years old. Good with the other kitties. Quieter dogs. And cat savvy children. Time and patience are what she needs

It has taken me a couple days , it’s hard to get these messages , and not having the words to express how to feel , what to say. There last appt, was anything different ?, did you miss any signs ?.. A million memories come through , tears and trying to keep it together ..

An old dog once told me I will make you happy, I will love you unconditionally. All I ask is for a warm place to stay and food, water and exercise. Okay, maybe a scratch or two and an occasional treat. I will be grateful you have given me a second chance at happiness. In return, I will wake you up every morning with a kiss. I will listen to all your problems and NEVER judge you. When you come back from being out and about, I will greet you with a smiling, happy face. Feeling blue? I will try and cheer you up. Want to go on a road trip? I’m in. I’m always up for an adventure.

Miss Lacey, I can’t get my words together to express the feeling I had everytime you came in for your "spa day" , your beautiful white face and big brown eyes always gave me comfort. I’m so happy I was apart of your life .. you gave me lots of love , lots of laughs and stories. I will furever cherish the moments we shared. I will miss you immensely! And will always have a special place in my heart !

Sometimes I can’t get everyone on here , but every single one of you mean more the world to me .. I’m sad to loose clients , it’s heartbreaking, and this year and last so far, I’ve lost a client almost everyday , my heart is hurting. It never gets easier , when I bath you or blow dry , when I kiss you , laugh with you , when I give you snuggles , clip your nails , pamper you. You all mean everything to me , and would do anything to keep you safe .. but not knowing that will be your last spa day is one of the hardest parts of my job .
I might only see you once a month , every 4 weeks , 6 , 8 or once a year .. but every single minute , it’s so worth all the memories..

To all the fur babies I’ve lost this year and years before you will always have a special place in my heart fur ever and ever
