Barley is one of favourite girls to do, not because she’s literally Jill’s dog & her name is literally on the building but because she has this aura & attitude about her. I just know we’d be besties in another life. She’s the friend you’d call to come bail you out. 🤣 she’s a straight gem. 💎
Come with me as I groom handsome Rudy, the Aussiedoodle! 😊
LOOK at these ADORABLE babies! 😍
They came to get love & have their nails done after their vet visit & guess what’s even more exciting? ✨They are looking for their forever home! 😱
Brandy from @pro_lashes_yxe is looking for adopters for these gorgeous babies! So if you are interested please message her for inquiries! ❤️
2 brindles are girls, brown & white is a boy & the fawn girl, Frankie, is spoken for.
Of course I would love one but I think I might get divorced if I brought another dog home! 🤦🏻♀️
This post is not to shame anyone. This is simply an educational purpose post.
You see a wagging tail & happy feet. We see anxiety & stress. This dog is under pressure, nervous, tense & worried. If we push too hard, we ruin the process of training & it will take a LONG time to gain trust back. If we don’t push enough, we get blamed for not completing their haircut & you are disappointed.
How do we compromise? How do we communicate? How do we take this life we have in our hands & make the next 12-14 years of grooming less stressful & a better experience?
1. Compromise! We ask that you come back to finish their groom in a couple days. We set up future appointments that are beneficial in helping your dog understand it’s a part of life & not a punishment.
2. Communicate! We give you tips & tricks to work on at home. We suggest professional trainers & exercise to do as well. We give realistic expectations for your dogs grooming appointments.
3. Future Experiences! If & when this situation applies to you, we ask for your patience & understanding as we try to create the best possible experience for your dog & us!

Let’s talk ✨FACE TRIMS✨
Over the last few weeks we have gotten quite a few dogs who what we, groomers, like to call ‘five heads’ or ‘weed wacked head.’ 🤣 #sorrynotsorry
So we decided it’s TIME! Time for y’all to learn a new grooming skill at home!
‘How to trim your dogs VISOR & EYE CORNERS!’
Disclaimers:
We are using professional scissors on CLEAN dog fur. You also can use thinning shears. *Safest shear is a ball tip shear. You can buy these at a local pet store or Sally’s Beauty. You will also need a brush/comb.
1. Starting with clean fur comb or brush the dogs visor or forehead hair to their nose, while holding your pets chin hair or using a ‘C’ grip, lightly around the muzzle.
2. Take your shears & aim them parallel to your dogs eyebrows & start trimming upward. Take a little off at a time & repeat until you get the length you desire.
3. Comb the eye corners out so the hair is sticking up. Using your shears, careful trim the eye corner area. Pointing your shears down, away from the eye, is the safest way to trim.
4. Remember using your comb will help you get the desired look. You don’t always need to trim the visor. If your dog can’t see it’s most likely the eye corners that need trimmed not their visor, unless it’s a yorkie.
You can also drop in the salon 11-4 for us to do this instead of you!
Thank you to Barley for being the cutest, bestest model for me. I love her so much! ❤️
