Hey Everyone,

With this cold weather, many of your pups walks will be cancelled/ rebooked due to the frigid temperatures. I will only take pups that are willing and physically able to handle the cold temperatures. Once the warmer weather comes, I will be able to catch up on missed walks.

An update on my job situation. I had a last minute switch and was offered a job closer to my home, which I gladly accepted! Thanks to all of you for providing references! I will be working weekends and taking casual shifts during the week, so I will be able to continue with dog walking! Please be patient with my schedule through training next week and I will keep everyone posted to any changes. I will contact everyone tomorrow with next week’s schedule changes.

I wanted to give everyone an update with my job hunt. I have accepted a casual position at my old workplace with a group home for at-risk youth. This may change to a full time position in the next few months.

I will continue to offer my dog walking services, but will be cutting down on my hours/ days of availability. Most of you will see small or no changes to your schedule. If there are any changes to your schedule, I will be contacting everyone separately and we can discuss all options.

Walk resume tomorrow with regular scheduling unless you get a hold of me and change it. I will also be offering extended days due to no school.

A quick update:

As many of you know, I’m looking to secure a full time position this fall which brings an unfortunate end to my dog walking career for now. I will still consider walking pups for people on vacation or keeping a selected few clients in my free time.

I will still be taking clients by a weekly basis and will be giving updates when anything changes.

Thanks to all my awesome clients and hope everyone had a great summer!

Sending out a friendly reminder that all walks are weather dependant.

Air quality has to be at 6 or lower.
At 26 degrees Celsius and up, the length of the walk will be determined by your dog. Factors such as shade, humidity, and wind can also affect conditions.

Any walks that are cut short or cancelled will be made up by adding time to future walks or rebooked for another day. Thanks for everyone’s patience and understanding during this time. I will get to everyone as soon as possible.
