Take highway 5 from Saskatoon towards Humboldt.

Go south on Range road 3021 - that is directly after Mourning Glory Crematorium. There is a sign in the ditch where you turn. Go right (south) for 2 miles, turn left (East) - go East for 1 mile, turn right (south) and continue for 1 mile. There is a sign on every corner where you turn. Entrance has two flags and a large sign. Certain cell phones seem to struggle with our GPS location, we are working on improving this. Please follow the directions above in the meantime.

Wander's parents just returned to Holland after a 2 week visit during which we celebrated Christmas early.

So now we are ready to be open from Wednesday the 25th - Christmas day - till Sunday the 29th!

It's a magical winter wonderland on the farm this morning! 🤍🤍🤍

These beautiful winter days are a lovely reminder of why we named our daughter Wynter. Winter on the farm sure brings stress (as do kids :) ), with al the snow shoveling, vehicles that won't start, frozen waterers, and the difficulty of fixing or doing things when your hands are freezing. But, winter is also incredibly beautiful in Saskatchewan and brings so much fun; skating, sledding, snowshoeing, snowman building, cozy campfires, and winter food (bring on al the soups and stews!)

4 more pigs left the farm today. Wander brought them to the abbetoir in Quill Lake this afternoon.

After all these years of raising free range pigs this still is Wander’s least favorite part of farming.

Finally a nice weather forecast for some winter fun! We are ready for it! The tubing hill had lots of snow, and the little indoor skating rink turned out great too!

Please bring a helmet as they must be worn when tubing or skating. We have a limited amount of helmets and skates that can be borrowed free of charge, but it's always best to bring your own.

As always, there is lots of hay and grain to feed all the animals with at no extra charge.

Did you know the covered sandpit is riddled with golden coins? If you find a coin, you can exchange it for a treat!

Just like during the rest of the year, there are lots of other things to do around the farm.

The cold snap is coming to an end, so Wander's Tiny Farm will be open multiple days around Christmas! See the second picture for all the days we will be open.

You can feed the animals, skate, sled, play, roast a marshmallow, climb into a real combine, learn something about farming, and enjoy the beautiful Saskatchewan countryside on our farm!

Please bring a helmet if you have one. Helmets are mandatory while tubing and skating. We have a number of child sized helmets that can be borrowed free of charge.

It's so nice to see happy visitors through the lens of someone else! And it's so fun to look back and see that we made so many improvements since then already. We are curious to see how much further we will be to realizing the image we have for the farm in our heads/dreams in summer 2025!

Can't make it out to the farm store?
No problem! We deliver orders of $75 or more to Saskatoon at no extra charge!

During the Canada Post strike, we will also deliver gift ticket orders of 6 tickets or more to Saskatoon at no extra cost!

Our current meat packs are on the last pictures, and the webshop is updated! We will be in Saskatoon several times the coming week, so I am sure we can find a delivery date that works for you!
We can also deliver to your place of work if that is more convenient!

Looks like a lot more snow is going to blow in, so we will only be open on Saturday (Dec 7) this weekend, after all. So make sure to come out for Winter fun on Saturday!!!

Tubing, skating, feeding animals, roasting a marshmallow over the campfire, getting into a real combine, games, outdoor toys, bunnies - we got a lot of fun stuff! :)

Wander's Tiny Farm is open this weekend!!
Saturday Dec 7 & Sunday Dec 8!
From 10am to 5pm!

It's going to be a great warm weekend, and with al the snow that has fallen, the tubing hill and skating rink are looking great! The whole Farm is a winter wonderland!

We have skates, tubes, sleds, and helmets available (at no extra cost), please bring your own skates and helmets if you have them! For safety reasons only sleds provided by us are allowed on the hill.

There is also always food available to feed al the farm animals!

Rather go on a treasure hunt? The covered sandpit is riddled with coins that you can exchange for a treat in the farm store!

A cold snap does not mean we have the day off here on the tiny farm. During the cold, it is extra important to check up on the animals and make sure everyone is well-fed!

If you see frost on animals outside, it actually a good sign! It means they are well insulated! Al the animals have good shelters to get out of the wind and straw to make a nice bed in. And their fur and fat are the most important things that keep them warm.

On our black dog, Willow, the frost brows are always extra nice ❄️ and our cows are covered in frost, so must be well fed too :)

We are closed this weekend, but we will do a round of meat deliveries in Saskatoon Monday afternoon and it looks like next weekend it's going to be a lot warmer, so hope to see you then!

We will be closed again this weekend; Nov 30 & Dec 1 because we think the wind chill Temps will make a farm visit quite unpleasant.

From now on, we will post every Wednesday during the winter if we will be open that weekend. We will post on social media, our website, and update our Google listing.

While we like the consistency of saying 'We are open every weekend year-round'. This is not quite realistic in Saskatchewan and we much rather be closed then have a few brave families come out and not have such a good time because it's too cold or stormy.

Winter sure came at us in full force this year with 2 snowstorms just days after each other. But now that the wind calmed down and the sun is out, it was time to appreciate its beauty!

Sure, we are not done with our 'do before first snow list', non of our old equipment wants to run properly in this cold, and we have a ton of snow to clear....
But the views sure are amazing in Saskatchewan!

All of our animals made it through the storms just fine! Grainbins with straw make excellent shelters for even the most distructive pig or clumsy cow :)

Due to the forecasted snowstorm, we will be closed this weekend.

We are typically open every weekend year round, unless extreme weather makes it unsafe to travel.

After this next dump of snow, our tubing hill should be in great condition. This coming week we will also start working on flooding the skating rink inside of the play barn! Hopefully next weekend will bring great weather for winter activities!!!

You can still bring your pumpkins to the farm to give to the animals!!

They absolutely love pumpkins!!

If they are moldy, you can still bring them and we will put them on our compost heap! Just make sure you remove sticks, candles, ect!

You can now order our pork packs and a lot of individual products from the webshop!
We deliver at (no extra charge) orders of $75 or more to Saskatoon. Smaller orders can be picked up in the farm store during regular opening hours!
Wander is also regularly in Allan, so delivery there is also possible!

And of course you can also just browse the store when we are open!

Al our meat is free-range and pastured, and our pigs have over 12 acres to explore! Our meat is processed in a federally inspected facility, and all our sausages are gluten friendly. So, it is made with a gluten-free spice mix but not in a separate facility.

Wander wanted to have a firetruck for kids to play with on the farm for a long time, and finally found this fun little fire unit for on a truck! We will put it on an old red red truck and adapt some things to make it safe to play on, and then this cool fire truck will be ready for the kids!
