We are thrilled to announce our upcoming event: Purrfect Pairings: Wine & Cats! (19+ event) 12:00pm to 12:00am!!

Enjoy a selection of wines, spirits, and cocktails to pair with fresh house-made appetizers while you enjoy some activities and games!

We have two Book Clubs being offered:

An Elderly Lady Is Up to No Good by Helene Tursten (10 copies available)

Tickets can be purchased by etransfer or in store. There are a limited number of tickets available.

Please note: This is a 19+ event ONLY. Tickets purchased for underage attendees will not be accepted OR refunded!!

Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards cafe upgrades and enrichment items for the kitties!

Happy Caturday, everyone!

I'd like to thank everyone for a great summer at the cafe! With fall fast approaching, our seasonal hours will be changing.

Our winter hours will be as follows:
Monday: 12pm-6pm
Tuesday: CLOSED
Wednesday: 12pm-6pm
Thursday: 12pm-8pm
Friday: 12pm-8pm
Saturday: 12pm-8pm
Sunday: 12pm-8pm

Our new hours will begin on Monday, September 16th, 2024.

While Molly has been adopted, Parmesan thanks you for your patronage at the cafe! It's support from our community that keeps our doors open!

Do you remember Yeti!? Through no fault of his own, he has been returned to the cafe. Yeti was returned due to aggression towards another cat in the home, but we have seen no signs of aggression at the cafe.

Ideally, he would be adopted to a single cat home to prevent any aggression in the future and to prevent him from being returned for the same reason.

Yeti loves to play with almost any toy! He also loves to coo and nuzzle your leg looking for pets and affection. Yeti has an undeniably adorable meow.

If you think you can give this amazing boy a lucky third chance at a home, please fill out an application for Yeti "Spaghetti" at Battleford's Humane Society website.

Andy is a recent addition who urgently needed a new place to call home. Andy is a very curious senior (8-10 years old), but he loves attention and wants to snuggle now that he is comfortable with busy cafe life!!

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS! 🐈

We have had so many donations of wet food lately, but it's very difficult to feed 20+ cats wet food, and we have a hard time doing that while staying on top of other cafe duties!!

We are looking for reliable and dedicated volunteers who can come in the evening, brave the sea of cats to give them wet food, and wash up the dishes after feasting!

Feeding the cats is not for the faint of heart. You will need perseverance to get through the incessant meowing and bravery to face the inevitable hoard of felines flocking to you as you dispense the bowls. 😹

The bonus is you get all the cats to love you by feeding them their favourite treats! 😻

We are limiting wet food days to 3 days per week.

There are 4 positions available for volunteering (we are hoping to increase the number of volunteer positions in the future)

Happy Sunday, everyone!

It has been just over a month since Georgina started on her FIP treatment. She has become more lively and has started putting on weight!

With her second chance at life, Georgina has been more interested in the faucet in the back 😅 She loves to stick her head under and be splashed while wondering how she can catch the water drops. 💧 She's become more playful and active since she feels better from her medicine.

We thank everyone who has supported Georgie in her recovery. Your patronage at the cafe helps pay for vet care and medicine for the kitties, on top of food and litter!

What do you get when you cross a cat with a parrot!? An Eleven, of course!

This bundle of equal parts, cute and chaotic, will surely liven up your life. She's an affectionate girl, but she shows it by sucking on your ear lobes when she is comfortable with you, and by perching on your shoulders like a parrot!

Eleven is an electric girl who is high energy and would do best in a house with another playful cat. She is also very adventurous and loves to climb!

Eleven has been in care since February 27, 2023 and would love a forever home for Christmas! ❤️😻

Who are we kidding.... ALL of our kitties would love a forever home this Christmas, so come on down to meet them!

Hello everyone! We're making a courtesy post today for a couple of friends. They are needing a temporary foster for about 5-6 weeks.

"Hello All, I am looking for someone in Saskatoon (preferably in brighton area) who has experience with cats (but no other pets in their home) and can foster our exclusively indoor and fixed 2 year old male cat for 6 weeks (until Oct 20). All the supplies will be provided (food, litter, grooming). Please know that we are NOT interested in rehoming our cat, just need someone to look after him for short term. He is not used to being around other animals at all so I am looking for someone who has experience with cats in the past but doesn’t have any right now."

We would like to remind guests who bring their young children to the cafe that the cat food and water are not toys!

Parents are required to supervise their kiddos in the cat room to ensure our cats have access to clean water and food, not just for the safety of the cats and children.

😺 On a lighter note, we will be OPEN for regular business hours tomorrow, Sept 4, for Labour Day!

It's that time again to showcase some of our longest residents!

This week, we are featuring Puzzles, Pawbrey, and Bonnie!

Puzzles and Pawbrey came separately into the shelter and the cafe, but have since made the closest bond. Mama puzzles took baby Pawbrey in as one of her own. They play together, cuddle together, and are best friends. What's better than two cats at once? Not having to introduce them to each other!

Bonnie has also formed new friendships and bonds at the cafe. She came in a bit grumpy and liked her personal space. Now, she enjoys playing with some other kitty friends! Bonnie would love to be your special someone ❤️ she's quite the talker, and you will never get bored of her antics.

A bit of a sad day with a happy ending!! Our little Kitty Purry has been adopted!! This thicc queen did a complete 180. She came to us terrified, and unsure of humans. The cat cafe gave her the space she needed to figure out that we aren't that bad after all! Well, the cats are out of the bag! We have 7 total adoptable kitties at the café currently: Sunny, Hillary, Penny, Clementine, Buddha, Cypress and Sophia!
