Meet one of our longest residents: the beautiful and goofy Kiana, who has been in our care since May 9. Kiana is a certified Goober who keeps everyone in the shelter laughing with her silly antics. As much as we love having her around to cheer us up, she deserves to be in a home where she can run around and play as much as she wants. Looks aren’t everything, of course, but Kiana is quite stunning too, with her lovely brown/cream coat and captivating mismatched eyes. Fun-loving and friendly, Kiana is more than ready to find a forever family who will dote on her and take her along on adventures – and she promises to be the best companion you could ever hope for in return.

Meet one of our longest residents: the lovely Patty (nickname Pattycake), who was brought to us on May 11 by a Good Samaritan who found her running alongside a highway outside of Saskatoon. This sweet girl loves giving kisses—if there is a face within reach, she will give it a good cleaning! Patty would likely do best on a farm or acreage, as she absolutely loves beings outdoors and is an independent explorer who eagerly looks for new adventures. While she needs some practice on a leash and could benefit from a bit of training, one look into her soulful brown eyes and you’ll know she is worth the effort. Strong in both body and spirit, Patty is ready to move on from her mysterious, troubled past and eager to find a new family that will cherish her.

This is Frannie, a resilient survivor who has overcome a tumultuous start in life. Found huddled in a car engine, Frannie was severely underweight for a full-grown cat. Covered in engine oil and trembling with fear, it was evident that she had endured hardships beyond measure and lacked familiarity with human kindness.

With dedicated care and nourishment, she embarked on a slow but steady journey to recovery. Though still timid, she has shown remarkable progress in trusting humans. With patience and gentle encouragement, she will reward your efforts with tender moments of affection-crawling into your lap, kneading biscuits, and purring contentedly.

Frannie seems to enjoy the company of other cats and feels more comfortable with them around. She doesn't even mind her foster mom's grumpiest cat.
