We raise Welsh Ponies of Cob Type and Half-Welsh Ponies for performance and pleasure. The ponies are great for children or adults.

e been searching for. We have 3 kids who enjoy the ponies as much as we do and raising good natured ponies that are child friendly and safe is very important to us. Our ponies have gone to many different families- people with young children learning to ride, families with older children involved in Pony Club and 4-H, teenagers looking to train a prospect, pony breeders and to adults who love to drive. We raise Welsh Ponies of Cob Type (Section C) and Welsh Cobs (Section D). We've found that the Section C's and Section D's are very docile and calm, have wonderful temperaments and move gracefully. Section C's are mid size ponies and our C's range in size from 12.2 hh to 13.2hh. Welsh Cobs exceed 13.2hh and have no upper height limit. They are extremely strong and excel at riding and driving. Our Half-Welsh ponies are super for older children and adults and are well suited to riding or driving. They range in height from 14.0 hh to 14.2 hh. Yesterday morning was a beautiful fall day and I turned the ponies out on our lawn to graze. They came running around the house and I was able to catch some video 🥰. The ponies make me so happy. Jake is learning that ponies can kick though they don't worry too much about him. He did learn some respect for cows after getting a swift kick to the snout!

Our pastures after the drought are in rough shape, so I put the ponies out in the yard to graze. We're down to 6 ponies and 2 horses. The bay gelding is Mi Higher Power, our stallion and herd sire for many years. Power when crossed with Rivendale Eve raises roans!😊

Here's Joss and her ranch pony Roo aka Rivendale Crystal. Joss trained Roo all by herself with the help of her Nan, Carol.
Joss is a very responsible young lady and paid for Roo with the funds she earned from selling her 4-H steer two years ago. She uses her as her ranch pony and it's so awesome to see the ponies we raised with their new owners. Thanks so much Jamie-Rae for sharing the pictures of Joss and Roo!

Ruby has been sold. Thank you to Whitney and her family for choosing Ruby! FOR SALE: Rivendale Ruby is as sweet as they come! We are dispersing our pony herd as we are no longer breeding ponies and are offering our mares for sale. Rivendale Ruby is a Welsh Pony of Cob type Section C mare and she is in the 13.1hh range. Ruby is extremely friendly and loves her people and kids. She is the first pony to greet us and has a wonderful temperament. Ruby is an excellent brood mare and is very strong and healthy. She would be an excellent kids pony with training or leadline pony. She's very easy to halter, lead, and catch and will follow you wherever you want to go. She has had the training basics and has been backed many times just hasn't had any formal training. She's been ridden ba****ck with a halter around the farm. Our asking price on Ruby is $1600 plus GST. Please like and share as we really want Ruby to go to a home with a family who will love her as much as she loves them!

I would like to thank Lynda and Don Walker for selecting Rivendale Augustus or Gus for Lynda and their grandkids. Gus has always had a special place in our hearts as he is what a pony for kids looks like. We are absolutely thrilled that Gus is at home with Don and Lynda, a wonderful family that I know will love Gussie as much as we have. Gus was Jess's first pony and they held a special bond. We're so excited to hear what Don and Lynda's grandkids think when they meet Gus for the first time! Lynda Walker
