My only availability this week for nail trims and product pick up will be drop-in on Thursday, September 4th, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at 1418 Faulkner Crescent.
Please note that I will need to leave promptly at 6 PM, so I encourage you to come earlier if possible.

Sometimes I walk away with a battle wound or two during nail trims. In the moment, I just grin and bear it — no excitement, no frustration — and I don’t want you to worry either. (If you ever want proof, I’ve got plenty of scars to show!)

I never hold a grudge or place blame. I simply finish the job and move on — no hard feelings. The good news is that 99% of the time, the next nail trim goes much smoother, because the dog learns that temper tantrums don’t work.

Remember, dogs have four legs and I only have two arms! Most of the time, these little “battle wounds” happen with dogs that have had a history of unsuccessful or unfinished trims. If a dog learns that resisting works for five minutes, they’ll try twice as hard the next time. That’s why I don’t give up — even if it means I leave with a scratch or two. Dogs don’t intentionally hurt me they"re just scared and thats why I do my best to work through it with them.

So if you ever see a dog having a meltdown, please know I’m not hurting them — I’m helping retrain their brain that fighting back isn’t the answer.

My niece once said.....
When I grow up I want to work with dogs like Aunty Crystal but not get hurt as much.

🚗 Parking:
Please park behind the church and do not block the alley.

🐶 Dog Safety:
All dogs must be leashed with secure collars that they cannot slip out of.

⏱️ Wait Policy:
Stay in your vehicle until the previous dog has left the garage.
(Not all dogs are social.)

📋 Order of Service:
First come, first serve – honor system.
Pay attention to who arrived before you.

📦 Product Pickup:
If you’re only picking up products (no dog), you can come right in.

🔐 Special Cases:
If the garage door is closed, a special dog is inside.
You may text me, but please wait in your vehicle until the door reopens.

About Me
With over 10 years of experience trimming nails for dogs of all breeds and temperaments, along with years of dog training expertise, I specialize in working with dogs who may be anxious or difficult during the process.

While I can’t promise your dog will “enjoy” the nail trim, I believe nail care is an essential part of pet ownership—just like vet appointments. Keeping your dog’s nails properly trimmed is vital for their overall foot health and body structure.

Dogs can learn to avoid nail trims by reacting negatively, but I ensure the job gets done by staying calm and consistent. Over time, the reaction is less about the dog “hating it” and more about understanding it’s a non-negotiable part of their care.

Drop in every Thursday at Faulkner cres 3-6pm unless otherwise posted.
