Crazy Tails Canine Services We offer grooming and training as well as daycare and boarding services within city limits. We teach using positive reinforcement and operant conditioning.

Crazy Tails is a place where your dog can come socialize and play all day! We offer 4x6 suites for our boarding dogs that are fully matted and have a climate controlled facility so your dog is always safe and comfortable! (Our boarding dogs also have full access to our play areas during the day!) We have a 5000 sqft indoor play area and a 7000 soft outdoor play area. Our outdoor area has plenty of

play structures as well as pools and sprinklers in the Summer time! Our staff constantly encourages training and good behaviour while in our daycare! Our wonderful daycare staff supervises and plays with your pups all day to make sure they come home happy and tired.

**Dogs must be friendly with people and other dogs and have no guarding or aggressive tendencies.**

Crazy Tails has a certified groomer Monday-Fridays! We do grooms as well as teeth cleaning, nails/dremel filing and more! We also teach a variety of classes in the evenings on weekdays and on weekends. Our classes include Puppy Primer, Novice Obedience, Intermediate Obedience and Advanced Obedience classes. We also have classes like Beginner Scent Detection, Rally Obedience, Loose Leash Lesson and the only Reactive Dog group classes offered in Saskatoon!

Do you want to help support a worthwhile cause right here in Saskatchewan ???

Crazytails Canine Services here in Saskatoon will holding a scent detection seminar on 14 to 15 Sept 2024. The profits raised from this event will be donated to Search and Rescue Saskatchewan Association of Volunteers (SARSAV) and their K9 team (SARSAV K9). This donation will go towards the SARSAV K9 team’s training expenses, helping SARSAV to provide a vital service to Saskatchewan families in their time of need.
SARSAV is the Association responsible for Ground SAR in Saskatchewan, and tasks under Authorities having jurisdiction for Search and Rescue. Comprised of 18 member chapters and 400 members. These Professional SAR Responders are trained to meet CSA standards for Ground SAR in Canada and volunteer their time on SAR missions, prevention, community support and more with the ultimate goal of bringing the lost and missing home.

This seminar will be aimed towards people with some experience training their dog in scent detection. This seminar will cover some of the basics and some the more difficult aspects of the sport. So, if you are wanting to take your scent work game to the next level, wanting to get ready for an up-coming trail, or just need some help and ideas on how to improve your game, this seminar is for you.

This seminar will be conducted by Cliff Erhardt, one of the instructors here at Crasytails. Cliff is a certified scent work instructor, a certified scent work judge with the Canadian Detection Sport Association, and brings many years of experience to this training. Cliff is also a K9 handler for SARSAV K9 with his dog, Trinity.

All participating teams in working spots will be trained on all 5 odors covering the odors used by the CKC, SDDA and CDSA as well as getting training odors to take home with you. Working spots will be limited, so don’t wait to book. Limited benching is available. Reactive dogs welcome. Use the below link to register.

Our puppy starter class was practising leaving food that is dropped on the floor on Monday night!

4 month old lab “Leif” is working on his balance and body awareness today with a home made balance board! Leif is enrolled in our Puppy Starter Program which includes basic obedience sessions, body and mind awareness sessions, socialization and calmness. Our Story

Crazy Tails is a luxury boarding facility and daycare centre where your dog can come and socialize and have fun all day instead of staying home alone while you are at work. We offer boarding suite rooms and crate boarding options.We have an 8000 sqft indoor play area with separate small and large dog areas.

Our facility includes overnight staff, air conditioning for summer boarding guests, full grooming and spa services. We also have a securely fenced 7000 sqft outdoor area furnished with a ramp and picnic table for pottying and for playing in the pool or lounging on hot summer days! Dogs who attend boarding and daycare must be friendly with people and other dogs and have no guarding or aggressive tendencies. We also teach obedience classes in the evenings. We teach using positive reinforcement and operant conditioning. Our classes include Puppy Primer for puppies under 6 months, Novice and Advanced Obedience and Reactive dog classes.
